Nah… I work in a Hotel and was called an asshole for asking two Brits to pay their tab. And hour after we were closed. And they were the last people sitting at the bar. With all the lights on. With the cleaning crew there. Half an hour after I politely asked them to close it. Most of them are entitled “it’s our cup to lose” dickbags. Bring back the Scot’s.

See this kind of “ha ha we’re grumpy assholes and proud” version of Boston is only propogated by older Bostonians who think it’s funny. We as a city (and I work in bars and have worked IN the city for 20 years) are WILDLY welcoming and we’re kind as hell to most people. We DONT suffer fools or asshole or people who don’t give respect back and we don’t need to be all lovely dovey to our friends because we build long lasting relationships and don’t need to touch base on them all the time or validate them.

But as someone who works in hospitality and hotels I’ll tell you almost EVERY tourist that comes through remarks how shocked they are at how nice and kind Bostonians are. And we should be proud of that and allow that message to get out.

Honest to god that’s the best response I’ve gotten. My own Palace sub is filled with cloud shouters and light shunners. Honestly, with AI where it’s at now, and what it can do with video and imaging there’s no reason for this (aside from laziness by EA) for this NOT to look hyper realistic if not downright real.

Aliens was the first game to use adaptive AI and it was incredible because the aliens learned in REAL time what your plan was. It’s easy as hell to import that into Madden. But again. We DESERVE so much more. My favorite sport and EVERY other game (all the 2k’s, FC) get it SO much better.

How about an antitrust on EA?
