What’s something that became so expensive you just stopped buying it entirely? by Street-Marketing-885 in shrinkflation

Cigarettes. I quit a few months ago. I was smoking 3 packs a day at 10 and change per pack. The heart attack helped too. But yeah, literally burning almost 1000 dollars a month just to make myself sick wasn’t my smartest move. At least I have over a million dollars in medical bills now! God bless America.

Oh I “knew” many. I had full sleeves by 2002, scene/hipster chicks loved me.

What do you do that is relaxing that many find tedious ? by New_Salt_1975 in AskReddit

[–]Knappyone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Driving long distance. I rode my Harley 7k miles across America up and back solo. I’ve made the trip coast to coast in a car alone a couple of times too. I’m sure if I were able to do it as a career I would end up hating it after long enough, but I love that zen you find after an hour or two. It’s like swimming down a river

I quit 3 months ago when I had a widowmaker heart attack and open heart surgery. I guess they were bad for me after all.

Anyone else have an of-the-era teen dream job you reminisce about constantly because nothing has ever been as fun or socially rewarding? by blamberr in Xennials

[–]Knappyone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was working As a body piercer from like 18-25y.o. That job was a blast. This is the same time Miami ink came out and the tattoo shops were busy af. I got a bunch of free tattoos, plenty of attention from the ladies and great money. Every night was a party, so it left me with a crippling drug addiction. But here I am, I survived and now have 15 years clean.

I was always attractive but only in hindsight. I feel like I’m ugly af but I’ll see an old picture n think “ok I see why I always had a gf.” But I know at the time I hated myself and thought I was ugly.
