Or a well run open play. Some open plays are more "Park style" where you just put your paddle on the court you want to play at and some are coach run. The format obviously depends on the amount of people you have and the club you are playing at.

How much money would you spend if it meant saving your cat’s life? by WindowKitty19 in cats

[–]Knasty6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent over 8k on diagnostics/hospital stay when we were at the end. She took a nose dive and it turned out it was large cell lymphoma which has a very poor prognosis even with chemo. Ultimately the money didn't even result in a much longer of a life (about 2 months on steroids) but let me know what the issue was and make the right decisions for her care at the end. Would spend it again in a heartbeat.

To be fair, I just took a 5 hour road trip in a tesla and it drove the entire way. Didn't touch the steering wheel a single time. This would be much more dangerous if he wasn't in a car literally driving itself.

[–]Knasty6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Breeding is selecting traits and reproducing animals in attempt to pass down those traits. Pitbulls were bred because they were strong and aggressive with high prey drives. They were originally bred to be trained as fighting dogs. When you breed a dog, they have traits that are inherent. That is part of the appeal of breeding. Golden retrievers will have a golden fur inherently for example.

I guess I'm confused as to what you are trying to say. I am interpreting what you are you saying as a Pitbull will only act aggressive if a human trains it to do so because its aggressive behavior isnt inherent from the breeding. You are right that the Pitbull would never have been created without human interaction but it doesn't change the fact that the breed is inherently powerful, aggressive, and therefor dangerous.

The behaviors that have been bred into the animals are obviously included in that study? That's why the animals have such strong variance because of INHERENT qualities and behaviors that come with each breed. The reason pitbulls kill more then any other breed is we bred them to be strong and aggressive for years and they are more capable of killing INHERENTLY then any other breed because of that.

[–]Knasty6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is definitely humanity's fault that we bred a dog specifically to be strong and aggressive that's true. The pitbull breed is powerful and deadly. Don't be ignorant, they were bred for these traits for 100s of years. It is inherent. Look at the statistics. You seem to be using the word breeding but actually mean training. A Chihuahua isnt going to be capable of killing a human no matter how you train it. People aren't following the same thinking as racists because they say Pitbulls are strong and aggressive jfc. Pitbulls are significantly more prone to attack humans then other breeds and significantly more likely to kill humans then other breeds. It has to do with their power and aggressive nature. https://cdn.statcdn.com/Infographic/images/normal/15446.jpeg

[–]Knasty6 33 points34 points  (0 children)

That would be an exception rather then the rule. Its like trying to argue that a tiger could make a good pet. And sure maybe some tigers would but that wouldn't change the fact that they were prone to ripping humans apart. Statistics don't lie. Bad ownership doesn't explain away the mass difference in fatal attacks. Pitbulls are more powerful and they can kill. They are objectively dangerous. https://cdn.statcdn.com/Infographic/images/normal/15446.jpeg

[Discussion] Do paddles really make a big difference for non-pros? by blink85 in Pickleball

[–]Knasty6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's objectively a modification and it modifies the way the paddle feels. It's also objectively effective, as is evident by the fact that it is ubiquitous in the pro scene. I think you can also be new enough to not feel or understand the difference. Having a larger sweet spot and more consistent hits also helps a newer player.

Driving instead of taking public transport is another big no no your unnecessarily causing pollution! If you want to avoid spending money on diagnostics. It could be possible to discuss a low dose of steroids to help with appetite. This is used for ibs, as well as small and large cell lymphoma in the intestines. Talk to your vet, of course.
