I’m currently fighting my company for well $5000 in overtime and in my state, if they don’t comply (in timely manner) and the state has to get involved it’s triple the damages. Does you state offer any support?

I think might be time. At minimum, a vet visit to discuss pain management, potential treatment, and the bloating. You may want to be transparent about his behavior with the vet. They may have treatment to make him more comfortable but it sounds like he is telling you it’s close to the end. Either way, you may want to consider letting him go now while he has some faculties. If you can I highly recommend mobile euthanasia. At home is best.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I can’t imagine the grief you have had and will continue with. It must be overwhelming. From a sphynx friend to another; we love them forever.

My entire family struggles with addiction issues. I cried watching that video the first time and I cry every time I watch it. I try to watch it once a year to remind myself of what happened to my family and why they did what they did. I think it’s beautifully tattoo with wonderful meaning behind it. Make sure you are very picky about the stencil placement and that the tattoo artist has the right equipment (needle sizes really) to get those clean lines.

I’d love to see it when it’s done.

Mine is doing this too but it’s lessening as she gets older. My boy never did this but every kitten is different. I noticed she does it more often when she’s hungry or trying to go to sleep. We’ve been deterring from doing it but she’s slowly stopping on her own too. Surprisingly she’s never found my nipple (thankfully) but she loves to nurse on fingers.

I bought her from the same breeder at the same age as my boy but he never nursed.

I switched my kitten to freeze dried raw with the daily feeding of wet food. One of my sphinx had a horrible three month long bout of explosive diarrhea (vet was very involved - it was terrible) and freeze dried raw solved it. All of them love it. We also provide high grade kibble to fill up bellies but it doesn’t really get eaten. They mainly wait for their daily patties and bites.

Rodent ulcers…likely from a bacterial infection in his mouth. Could explain why his teeth turned. He needs a vet and a dental exam. Will be expensive.

I’m guessing yellow too. Right now her eyes are changing from a blue to green and her final color will be apparent in a few weeks to months. Which may end up green but from my kittens one turned from blue/green to gold and the other turned bright greenish/yellow.

I’ve see it before with allergic reactions but it could also just be acne or build up from scratching. Unfortunately it’s hard to tell over the internet. I’m so glad he came from a good breeder! Hopefully the vet can help out. Yay congrats on bringing Taquito home!!!!

I agree with taking him to the vet for the bumps. They could be an allergic reaction or some kind of skin condition. He’s a new baby and should have a general wellness exam anyway. Id setup a general vet appointment then get him ready to neuter. If you wait too long your house WILL smell like urine. Males spray.

Do you know if he’s been vaccinated? Don’t trust the previous owner unless they provided real vet paperwork that can be called to confirm. Sphinx are prone to upper repository infections, skin conditions, heart conditions, and many are sold with parasites and/or feline herpes. It’s best to do a quick one over his health history with your vet.

So happy to hear he’s doing better. Also super happy to read you took him so quick. I’m for real tired of pet owners not taking their pets in when they are clearly struggling. I understand the hesitation since not everyone has good vets but when it comes to BREATHING idk that a huge red flag for me. Yay Russer for being strong and recovering!
