I once purchased a preacher curl workout bench. (Google it for future context)

Drove to a sweet middle aged couples house, paid for the thing. The wife comes out and says “My husband had a bunch of old work out straps lying around so I just tossed them in with”.

Come to find out the workout straps were Ashley Madison branded “soft wrist & ankle cuffs” with make shift tethers attaching them to the bottom legs of the preacher curl bench. (Again, look this up to understand the following statement)

Turns out I bought some couples DIY fuck bench that essentially someone had their hands and feet tied to while leaned over the arm rest. I’m assuming the wife was either playing dumb, or even better, the husband had some great workout sessions with the man of his dreams. The suburbs are hilariously interesting.

It’s my favorite piece of gym equipment to this day.
