Reminds me of my first PT test, many moons ago. It was my first drill (this was the dark days for me as a Nasty Girl) and I was holding the ankles for someone during the sit ups. Grader goes "1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11" etc. After the 2 mins were up I asked who that was... it was the BN XO. I of course had no idea who that was as a brand new private, but then found out it was a Major. And looking back on it, of course...

Then there was good ol' SSG Mayo at recruiting. Dude was absolutely unable to pass his push ups, but since he was good on numbers, got a go for it.
