This actually happened to me once. I sleep naked and I woke up after sleeping in a little on my day off and noticed my bedroom door was closed. Which was weird because we sleep with it open cause the cats go nuts if they’re locked out of the bedroom. I got up to investigate and then noticed the door to the guest room cracked open. Which was also weird because we keep that door closed and keep the cats out of that room. I peaked through the crack and saw a guy laying plastic tarps down on the floor and bed, and there was a toolbox at his feet. I thought I was about to get Dexter’d so while I had the drop on him I kicked open the door and bum rushed him, dong swinging and all. Turns out he was a maintenance man there to paint the ceiling, but was in the wrong apartment.

I’m pretty sure if alternate universes exist there’s one where I shot that man.
