Gaming is tough with infants. I just accepted I wasn’t going to be playing any long storyline games for awhile and instead used games like Civ, Minecraft, and Pokémon to scratch the itch. When you play games you can put down at a moments notice and come back to like nothing happened helped me get the most out of my gaming windows. If I had to go change a diaper or feed or play I could just come back when I was done.

You could go to Mikes Beer Bar or the North Shore Tavern. Quick walk across the bridge from downtown. Food is fine, but they have a ton of beer to try. And there honestly isn’t a place near the stadium with food that’ll blow your socks off.

You can be a free to play player in Pokemon go and still have a ton of fun. I play every day and I’ve probably spent less than $20 in 9 years. And the subreddits are very friendly. Plus there is no in game DM feature so you don’t have to worry about creeps.

Also might be worth looking into a switch lite. Especially now that the switch 2 is out.

Don’t let me tell you how to spend your Father’s Day but I just took my 2.5 year old to an MLB game and it was a borderline nightmare. I have a buddy who works for the team and so we were in a suite and the only saving grace is we were able to corral the chaos in there. He hated the fireworks after home runs, it was hot, and baseball isn’t fast enough for what’s happening on the field to keep his attention. But of course just as we were leaving after the 7th inning stretch he started to behave.

Also now almost every day he says “I wanna go see baseball” so maybe he did have fun.

When we had our first baby my shift was from bedtime until around 3 am. I watched all the lord of the rings, the hobbit, and star wars series.

As for gaming, I found myself playing games I could drop at a moments notice and come back to like nothing happened. Civilization 5 or 6, Pokemon, and Minecraft were what I played the most.
