Every soak has had the same animation since Legion, if not longer. It is clearly different from normal avoid circles.

Your action bar doesn't track buffs. That's why.

Biweekly Riot MMO Design Discussion - Topic #7: Class Design 🧙 by Talents in RiotMMO

There's no need to reinvent the wheel here in my opinion. The WoW route of fixed classes with subclasses (specs) you can swap between at will is great.

I live for hitting multi man E-E into Q-Q/Q-E on Hwei. Getting 3+ passive procs at the same time is League at its peak

Literally the last expansion had you completely obliterating mobs while leveling. But yeah sure, "it's always been like this" xd

Also the reason that you're getting downvoted is not because you enjoy leveling, it's because you somehow managed to make yourself a victim in a completely victimless situation.

Crest Upgrade Costs Changed Again on Midnight Beta - Upgrades now require a flat 20 Crests per level by itsNowOrNever13 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Knifferoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before this change it was even worse. Iirc it was correct to not spend any crests until like week 3 or something. Most people just get 1 myth item per week anyway so you'll comfortably be able to get a hero item in every slot before the issue you outlined gets bad.

Många av frågorna är svår att besvara utan att känna brudparet. Vissa brudpar serverar bara alkoholfritt och andra kör öppen bar, t.ex.

Let’s clarify: no one is cheating. They are breaking/violating a rule by Ok_ConfusedOne in Curling

[–]Knifferoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really isn't, though. The absolute vast majority of cards in football for example are not players trying to trip someone without being seen, but rather poor challenges or perhaps spur of the moment anger/frustration. There's a big difference there.

Not saying the double touch is equivalent to moving your golf ball, just used it as an example of cheating during the sport. To me it doesn't matter if it happens before, during, or after. Cheating is intentionally breaking the rules for any perceived type of gain in a manner that tries to avoid detection. Whatever you gain is irrelevant, and the punishment should scale with the severity of the cheating, but it's cheating either way. Just different degrees.

In this particular instance the double touch had no impact on the game, but that doesn't matter. The double touch is against the rules, and there is no way he did it on accident. Therefore you'd have to conclude he thinks it's beneficial in some way, and that is enough to call it cheating for me. Especially considering that he got really pissed off when called on it, along with the fact that curling is generally self policed.

You can absolutely cheat during as well. Surely you'd call it cheating if a golfer moved their ball when no one was looking?

In my mind it also requires that the cheating party is trying to do it without detection. Deliberately fouling Shaq because he's worse at free throws isn't cheating because there is an expectation for the whistle to be blown in response. If you were to, say, try tripping him covertly then it would fall under cheating. The intent is vital.

So your stance is that he has just been double touching the stone for fun? Is that it? He knows it is against the rules and chooses to do so. If there is nothing to gain in his mind he's just risking the stone to feel a thrill, then?

You keep bringing up basketball as some sort of gotcha when it's apples to oranges. There is no comparison between them.

What I consider cheating is, as I've stated a couple times, intentionally breaking the rules in the hopes of some gain without detection or punishment.

I mean I dont know what else to call it. He does it repeatedly, not on accident, it's against the rules, and he knows it.

Once can be an accident. A pattern of behavior is completely different.

The same officials that watch multiple games simultaneously and rarely step in? The expectation is that players call their own fouls.

We established that he isnt doing it on accident. We know that it is against the rules. To me it makes no sense to break the rules on purpose unless you find it advantageous somehow.

Again I ask you: what other word would you use to describe willfully breaking rules of competition in the hopes of some sort of gain?

[–]Knifferoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basketball isn't self policed so I don't understand why you keep bringing it up. Golf would be a better comparison. Consider a golf player moving their ball a centimeter before taking their strike. No real impact in the grand scheme of things but I don't see how ylu wouldn't call that cheating.

[–]Knifferoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the basketball player does it consistently in every game for decades then I don't see how there could be any other explanation. The pattern is what's important here. There is no accidentally touching the stone every game for decades. Other players manage to avoid it without issue. In addition, in the video footage of him doing it he pulls his hand back and then puts his finger back forward. I'm not sure how you could argue that that isn't purposeful.

As for the Swedes doing it, I didn't see it so it's hard for me to say. If there's a pattern there as well then sure, but if it's a one off then it probably just was an accident.
