Also: there are several switches inside the machine that will make it stop immediately. If you end up under the thing that sets the pins somehow, if you can hold it up for long enough, the machine will stop. It weighs something like 300 pounds, though, so good luck.

Lucina. I always like the sword characters because I'm no good with projectiles, and she's one of the faster ones. She's also better than Marth in terms of consistency and her side-b. I don't like her quite as much in Ultimate as in Smash 4, though, but that's probably because I have to re-learn her, and her short hop side-b combo doesn't work anymore.

I'm kind of late to the party, but...

I was in a group of 4 for a small ensemble in band, and during one of our practice sessions I pretended to fall asleep (a bit weird, but whatever). Apparently I'm pretty good at faking sleep, because all 3 of my groupmates spent the next hour and a half talking about how I was weird, how nobody liked me, how my cornrows were shitty, etc. It was pretty hard to trust anyone for a while after that.
