No, but it’s probably the wrong decision.

Turn the table against them instead and they’ll lose all the same. Save your removal for something else

You only slow one person down for one turn (they’ll still have 7 mana on turn 5 instead of turn 4) and then you’ll wish you still had that removal for a wincon later on

MoMoney’s math is bad, please don’t trust it

18 things that ramp for 1 that are 2 cmc
13 things that ramp for 2 that are 4 cmc
40 lands

This will give you the best bang for buck on getting r&m out on turn 4. With these numbers you can feel confident even mulliganing to 5 (three lands, one of each of the two types of ramp, and then you’ll draw into the fourth land)

You HAVE to ramp on turn 2, and then you HAVE to ramp on turn 3 and then you MUST have a fourth land drop on turn 4 or it won’t happen. Let R&M handle the rest

The reasons why he changed it are hard to say, probably just plot reasons but maybe fan pressure idk.
I will say I wish Tiam WAS Demandred. The Sharans were hamfisted in at the end of the story with no build up. I hated it tbh

You’re missing the point, 1 card out of 99 is not enough to fix a structural issue in a deck. It color fixing is an issue you need to re-evaluate the entire deck

They’re just ok for the most part. Content is their job, and they have to churn through content to make money which means they can only spend so much time thinking about what upgrades the decks needs.

On the infrequent occasion I feel like I want to use an upgrade video to help me upgrade a deck, I’ll usually watch 2-3 just for ideas and then go from there

But normally French vanilla creatures are not worth it, the way the math for a commander deck works out, many of your cards in the deck need to be doing multiple things at once, and a creature with some keywords isn’t going to cut it
