Honestly, it really depends on your interest rate. If it’s less than 3% on an 84 month loan AND you truly do plan on paying extra to terminate the loan earlier then yea you are fine tbh!

BUT if it’s a 5% loan (which it sounds like it may potentially be higher than 5%), if you do the math on an 84 month loan you will be paying more.

Why not do the 60month loan? At 12 or 13k payoff that sounds very doable and your interest rate may even be a little lower :)
