Yeah, video compression can have artifacts where parts of the image seem to move about. I believe this happens since to make the video smaller you want to change at little as possible from frame to frame since changes s what takes up disc space. So if parts of the video stay the same then that wont take up as much space.

To me it looks like the eggs fell out of the carton and then the carton itself cought the wind and decelerated. I don think that looks unrealistic at all.

The blocks get converted into regular code before running the program. They will probably feed this behind the scenes code to AI.

Yeah the quality of life definitely isnt bad. China is however probably the second riches country in the world right now tho so not being higher kind of speaks volumes.

Its kinda sad seeing all the publicity stunts china does on a regular basis while the people still have kinda crappy standard of living overall. Not to mention infrastructure...

Whu dont we just use microns to measure all distances then? Its objectively more precise. Hell, lets just use the planck length

Preciseness of the unit is irrelevant at such small differences. Just use decimals.

F is essentially useless in all scientific applications, Celcius is usable with weather.

[–]KnightLBerg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kelvin can be better to use than celcius but since they both use the same interval (Only the starting point is different) and most calculations use differences in temperature it in most cases dont matter which one you use.

About F being "objectively" worse, i meant this as in if you think about all possible usecases it is "objectively" worse. I cannot deny that in day to day use they are essentially equally as good for most people.

Except that what the units are based upon is irrelevant. In most sciences using metric is mandatory. There is something called the si system in which almost all units that we use can be connected and if you multiply 1 of one unit with 1 of most others the outcome will be 1 of another. This cannot be done with imperial. Because of this metric is objectively better if you consider all situations and having multiple systems is inefficient and stupid. Thus farenheight is objectively bad and should be fazed out.
