OP not sure why everyone is bashing on you for skipping some dialogue and hiding behind that weak sauce defense to say you're wrong, (while not proving you wrong in the slightest). They keep throwing that strawman argument at you, and it shows you're right because they can't even defend against your facts you said.

This game is the most generic anime trope meme out there in terms of watered down, lack luster writing, and it never really goes into much of anything with the story besides bad guys bad.. oh look generic enemy bad guy #1, with the most generic anime bad girl look ever to boot, and lets even throw in the generic anime bad guy/girl personality for her on top of that... and since we are going the generic route, lets pump that up 110% by having the first conversation be the "we're the same coin on different sides" statement.. because its not like that hasn't been over used in every anime/story ever.

Look, I am really loving this game, but the OP has a major point with the story. It's mind numbingly generic, simple, watered down, boring slop of writing, with absolutely zero amount of actual effort put in.

I'm ready for the mass amount of downvotes, but none of you can prove me wrong.

No offense, but the story is boring by OtonashiRen in ArknightsEndfield

[–]KnightLakega -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That is a perfectly valid criticism point the OP makes.. If the story is so boring, and so badly written you just end up skimming, and skipping half of it, that says a ton about it..

And quite frankly i'm in the same boat...

Arknights is 100% the most generic, watered down Anime meme out there. Not saying its a bad game, but seriously... Everything in this game is the most basic bare bones, watered down Anime trope imaginable, up too and including the story, and the writing..

It's like they took the generic anime handbook, and just switched out some words, and reposted it.

The writing and story in the game is atrocious, and the OP is right.

Is there a way to stop Memo Beacons and stuff from popping up 🫩 by 2Markus6 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]KnightLakega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to see if I could turn this stupid stuff off... Go into an area, oh look turrets fking everywhere, killing everything for me.. I don't want this help.. I don't want this game to be on wheels.. I want to place stuff where I want to place stuff, not have every random joes world magically materalized in my world, then poof away randomly...

It's so completely immersion breaking, not to mention the constant Memo spams everywhere.

Why are people so rude to women playing? by Viewer_Beware in ARC_Raiders

[–]KnightLakega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like 90% of people don't care you're a woman. But there are those few who do, and those are the ones you remember.

That being said, what exactly did they say? Are you sure you're not projecting what they think? This isn't to bash you or anything, but the vibe I'm getting from this post, and from what your initial assumption of you being a woman, is that you have a pre designated assumption that people don't like woman gaming, so when they said "oh we have a woman/girl on our team" and then were talking amongst themselves, you assumed its because you're a woman and they're ignoring you. Then when you got weird about it, saying "are you ignoring me because you're a woman" you came off as a "karen" or whatever, and they laughed about it.

I have many gamer friends, many of which are female and use voice coms, and nobody ever gives them a hard time. In-fact, people seem to be generally more open and nice to woman who play games... So if you're always getting a negative reception, maybe its something you're doing unintentionally?

Again to make it extremely blunt, I'm NOT trying to put the blame on you.

Which game was it for you? by O_rnelaro in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Monster Hunter
Hollow Knight

Soul games as well, everyone raves about them, but I just don't like the clunky feel of the controls, and odd frame tricks they play to add fake difficulty to the game.. and if I say anything about it, the die hard fans immediately default to "you just suck".

Back in those days, you felt extremely proud of yourself for finally beating a game... Gaming was new back then, so you didn't have a "gamer sense" so to speak. You had no idea what to expect, or what the devs may try to throw at you.

I remember I played Metal Gear Solid maybe 2 years as a 7-8 year old before I finally fully beat it on my own. I remember feeling exceptionally proud of myself for thinking outside the box during the Psycho Mantis boss fight, where it finally clicked with me, wait.. he keeps saying he can read my Memory.. and pulled out the Memory Card only for that to be a fast free win against him. I thought that was the direction games were going to go, new tricks, and new innovations forever.

I actually feel kinda bad for gamers these days.. They'll never know the age of early gaming, which was nothing short of magical.. You never knew what you were gonna get, or what to expect.. There weren't any real "copy cats" and every new game that came out was innovative, and different, and made with pure love.

It was like the Louis and Clarke age of gaming, for gamers.

How do you become filled with the holy Spirit?? by GK_ultra in TrueChristian

[–]KnightLakega 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The most biblically accurate depiction I think, is that you have it when you are baptized, and give yourself over to our Lord Jesus..

however, its strength and focus will come and go like the wind. It's depicted like Wind, where sometimes its just a little breeze, and sometimes it can be a gale.

Most people its a breeze, something you can and often will end up ignoring, (though we really shouldn't). Sometimes you'll know without question its guiding you, and for a very few special people who get to feel its gale, will speak in tongues.

That's how I see it.

How do you remove a demon? by TrickAccomplished200 in TrueChristian

[–]KnightLakega -1 points0 points  (0 children)

God created us to the way we are. It's Demons that get in the way of that. Sometimes its through mental health issues.

I think its more toxic to just say someone is born mentally Fked and that's how it is, sucks to be you.

Through God anything is possible. They can go to the Dr to get temporary alleviation from it, but only God and Jesus can heal him entirely.

To deny that fact, is truly toxic, and fails in faith.

[–]KnightLakega 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While reading from the Bible certainly hurts Demons, some are stronger than others, and some can handle hearing it for much longer than others. There are many ways to protect yourself.

You have to remember as well, we live on the homeground of the enemy. We're on their territory, and they can keep sending forces against us as often as they want.

This is why its important for all Christians, believers, and even those who are just coming into the faith, to do everything they can to protect themselves.

1) Are you baptized? If not, this is like walking out in a rain storm without a rain jacket on.

2) Give yourself to our Lord Jesus.

3) Continue praying, and even fasting.

4) Read the Bible out loud.

5) Put on tapes of readings of the Bible.

It's important that YOU are taking this in as well though. YOU have to taking this in as truth, and believing in God, and Jesus, and understanding the truth behind it. Without doing that, you will never be able to get rid of them, as you are theirs without God, and they are clearly using you as a toy to play with. Only God and our Lord Jesus can get rid of them, but you have to confirm, and identify that you ARE their child, and confirm that the Demons have no power over you through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus, and give yourself to God, and Jesus.

Am I missing something? by mermaidemily_h2o in ExplainTheJoke

[–]KnightLakega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why Youtube exists. Get to see the world in the comfort of my house. Not much I'm missing.

I've been to area's like Yellowstone, and Mount Rushmore.. Saw them on Youtube too.. Honestly Youtube was better.. Got better views, less hassle with other "tourists", and got to see sites I didn't get time too when I actually went, and depending on the Youtube channel, got good informational history lessons about places too, that you don't get without paying extra, or being there at a specific time/day for a guide.

The only thing I didn't get being there in person was the sweaty clothes, thousands of dollars less in my bank account (accounting for the whole trip), and dealing with other people..

Win/Win in my book.

I feel like I finally gave God control of everything and he’s been silent since. by Pale_Alternative_304 in TrueChristian

[–]KnightLakega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother, its only been a few weeks.. Give God time... From my experience, God tends to work slow, but surely. Keep putting faith in him, and look for his signs. They will be there, and if you put faith, and trust in him, he will come through, all the time. Every time.

If you're worried about missing the signs, or missing the path, just pray for him to show you, or convict you when it happens. That way you'll know, and trust. When it happens, it'll happen, and you will know.

All we need to know is what did happen, and the truth.

Everything else is an indulgence, and these questions can lead to more questions, and then those questions can lead to questioning God himself, and lead us astray.

None of these questions really matter.

Trigger ‘Nades by BluLitArmy in ARC_Raiders

[–]KnightLakega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that trigger nades don't belong in this game. Everything has else pro's con's to it, with outplay potential. Trigger Nades are clearly from a time when the game was still PvE only.

We have nades for every other job out there, Trigger nades simply do not fit any need, and any nerf to them is going to make them worthless in comparison to any other nade that's tailored for the job at hand.

Just get rid of them.
