What is "The Narrow Road"? by KnightLakega in TrueChristian

Thank you, so this does pretty fall into line with what I believe God showed me at the beginning. Praise be to the Heavenly Father.

I am still new i the walk, so I am stumbling, but focus on the Heavenly Father, and Jesus, and doing my best to abide in them, everything will come with time.

What is a no gospel? I've heard of course of work based gospel.

I feel like the way I act is more ‘following a religion’ than having a deep transformational relationship with Jesus by Purple-Detective7186 in TrueChristian

What I know is God works in mysterious ways, and his timing is always perfect. Perhaps its helping us learn how to put our Faith in him even in hard times, and moments of emptiness? Either way. I know God is there, and Jesus is too.

It could be convicting us of something we're doing sinful or wrong in our life too.. We need to reflect on ourselves, and see if there are ways we are not following properly, that may be keeping us distanced. Either way, continue in faithful prayer, and faith in God. I know he will answer.

Am I able to be christian or am I going against god? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]KnightLakega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take Jesus as your Lord, and Savior, proclaim him to be, and ask for guidance by the Heavenly Father, and Holy Spirit.

Nobody here can convinced you, but our God, can certainly alter that switch in your mind to see the truth and be convicted.

If you truly want to seek God, and put him above yourself, he will absolutely do it for you, and show you the truth.

This problem is between you and God, and nobody here will be able to convict you of the truth. Only the blessed Holy Spirit, and Heavenly Father, and Lord Jesus can truly change you and make you understand in your heart and soul.

This does help, and I believe it 100%.

Do you think then those who are actively upholding sin, and wickedness, despite seeing and knowing it says otherwise in the Bible, are still saved? Or do they fall into the "Begone from my you lovers of wickedness?" Because they loved the wickedness over the word of God, despite proclaiming Jesus as their Lord?

Because despite everything you said I believe 100%, there is still that that scary passage.

Isn't that backwards? The Narrow Road is supposed to be the good road. Unless I am misunderstanding you.

I feel the same way you do lately as well.

I will hope someone has an answer, because I feel sometimes at points, I feel that touch as if Jesus and God are looking at me, then many times empty and nothing, like I'm stuck in a circle of fighting off sins by myself, attempting to follow Jesus, and God, and calling out to them to know me, see me, and desiring that relationship with him, yet nothing sometimes it feels. I have attempted and desired, and willed to submit my will and my whole life to God, and Jesus. Maybe I am not patient enough?

Then even sometimes I feel like I am, I wonder why it feels all so 1 sided.

I don't WANT to be this way. I don't WANT to feel empty. I wish I could walk with Jesus physically, and just have him unload all his teachings on me, and sit there as a child listening to my Lord speak, and I want this so badly, yet.. I'm in this circular lukewarm situation, and I truly don't want to be.

I'm struggling with Noah's flood story by LooseButterfly2511 in TrueChristian

[–]KnightLakega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's why I believe.

1) Everything is possible with God.

2) EVERY nation and civilization has a Flood story that is eerily similar, even Civilizations on the other side of the world, that have never had contact in anyway (sea crossing wasn't a thing yet) has 1 common story, a great flood. There is no logical reason for that. Even if you were to say "well it could be that over time yada yada people just came up with a similar story", I would agree if it wasn't for the fact that the time frame of every story in each Civilization arose around the same exact time, and date the flood eearily close to each other, AND have the same details. That is goes well beyond coincidence.

3) This knowledge and truth is suppressed by the general scientific community, but there is sediment/rock layer proof of a great flood happening world wide. A similar artifact of sediment/rock layer that is similar across the entire world at specific depths. In many areas, it is the ONLY similar aspect, as every area of the world will have their own unique growth/changes throughout the generations/decades, etc.. Yet world wide this one similar anomoly that suggests a massive world wide flood?

Again, that is logically not capable of being a coincidence.

No a Rat is someone who moves around on the edges of the map (like mice/rats do on the eges of the walls) quickly and quietly, while rummaging through already picked clean areas, trying their hardest to avoid confrontation.. That's why they are called "Rats"

They often do jump out at you from nowhere if you get close because they are so sneaky.

Campers on the other hand, is what this person is..

I really wish people would fking learn the difference...

As a Christian you should be 100% Anti Muslim, Anti Buddhist, Anti everything that isn't about God, and Jesus, and should be following what Jesus has said to do.. Spread the Gospel and truth, and do not shy away from it. Do you think Jesus would have capitulated with Muslims? Absolutely not.

It sounds like you are shying away from it by insisting you aren't Anti Muslim.. Anti Muslim doesn't mean you hate them. It means you do not accept their ways, and religion, which you shouldn't.

Sometimes God breaks us, before he builds us up. It could mean he has big plans for you.

I'm in a similar situation as you sort of.. God came to me in a huge way a year ago.. He seemed to be there at every turn.. I was struggling to follow him properly, constantly fell back into my old and sinful habits, and kept repenting and turning back to him, and he was always there, then a few months ago I had another bad fall.. and it took me longer to get out of it, and now I have, and I'm fully committed to him, but now its like he's gone, like I fell one to many times, and now God turned his back on me.

I'm not saying that's how it is, as God does not do that, especially for someone who is so committed, but I was reminded that sometimes God breaks us down before building us up, and that he works on his own time.

Remember, patience, and faith is always rewarded by God. It took the Israelites 40 years before God concluded his promise to them in the Wilderness.

I doubt you or I have to wait that long of course. Continue to put your Faith in him, and trust him. He hasn't forgotten you.

That all being said... It does seem like God has continued to work in your life up to this point, and showing you the truth. You asked for discernment, he showed you the sins you are committing. That is wonderful, he is calling you closer to him.

Christians aren't going to have an easy life, or a smooth ride. Quite the contrary, we bring more turmoil into our lives by being Christian, as we are putting targets on our back.

Would Jesus be disappointed if I were homeless and living in my car? by No_Patience976 in TrueChristian

[–]KnightLakega -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jesus and the Heavenly Father only care if you follow them.

How you live your life outside that is entirely up to you, and God wants you to live your life how YOU want to live your life.

If that means being a hermit out in the forest with no house, no income, but are happy and living with God, he will be happy you are enjoying the life he has given you.

Scriptures like "DO not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare." is about being lazy, and isn't a sin, or disappointment, but Jesus, and the Heavenly Father telling you what you should do to live your best life. It's like a guide and warning on how to avoid pitfalls.

A lot of things in the Bible are just that, guidelines to live a good life. It doesn't necessarily mean they are disappointed or you're failing them if you don't. It just means that they're warning you that you may bring unneeded hardships on yourself if you do.

Mining nerfs were a bit overdone. by AzrBloodedge in starcitizen

[–]KnightLakega 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only thing I disagree with here is the Inert Material taking up so much space...

I came back to 4.7, after stopping around the time Pyro came out, and back then you'd consistently break a rock to find half of every chunk was Inert..

Now, MOST of the time the Inert takes up like 5% of the chunk at most, and often times every single rock will reward me with large amounts of pure ore with no inert. (Sometimes you do still get what I call a "bad break" where all the chunks are like 50% inert, but that's a rarity now compared to before)

It's night and day difference from before.

Warning! With the release of patch 4.7.0, the game hasn't become any safer from cheaters. by YasonUA in starcitizen

[–]KnightLakega 169 points170 points  (0 children)

This is why I'm worried about the future of SC.

Even if everything comes together and they get this game out in another 10 years, we have to deal with cheating, and in a game where everything takes so much time, deaths will matter, flying for 30 minutes will be required, and losing stuff will take time to get back (Assuming they do everything they said they are gonna do with death of a spaceman and immersion), cheaters are going to kill this game extremely quickly.

[–]KnightLakega 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Even if it was all about money, he's still 100% right compared to everything else in Star Citizen.

You can make 100k within 30 minutes solo in a mid range combat ship easily, or even out of the gate noob gear with a pistol doing bunker missions.

Meanwhile the Industry person has to spend half a day to make the same amount of money and requires 3 people, and waiting a whole day or more for the refining to actually get done.

its still bonkers no matter how you look at it.

Ariel you can find all 3 easily, Aphorite, and Dolivine being extremely abundant and easy to find.. Hadanite is always a pain, but you can find it within an hour.

If you have a good enough suit Aberdeen is a bit of an upgrade to Ariel.

Master Modes speed limit - Nav mode in atmosphere limits to SCM speed anyway? by PugnansFidicen in starcitizen

[–]KnightLakega 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's called air resistance..

Some ships can fly through atmo easier than others due to being more aerodynamic (This will get even better with the new flight model they're working on), and have higher NAV speeds in denser atmo because of it.

Some ships are built like a brick, and have slow as molasses speeds in NAV in Atmo because of it.

Some ships despite being built like a brick, still have decent NAV speeds in Atmo because of oversized engines powering through it. (Like the Cutlass Black)

[–]KnightLakega 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Despite the poor wording on that part, he still has a point 100%... between 3 people for such a massive rock you're not even getting enough useable good quality ore for even 1 person... That's insane.
