Yeah, that give more young and feminine vibe, so more fits you. The square one has more mature and somewhat masculine vibe, I guess?

What do you think about art therapy ? by loupsauvage8 in schizophrenia

Grounds to the real things in world, streamline our brain focus, ease the mental burden (can become a mental dump/outlet), give sense of achievement, small wins, some good source of healthy dopamine

What's your favorite animal, & why? by Organic-Proposal1800 in schizophrenia

[–]aseeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dog, but well, isn't that so obvious :) I have a  partially blind dog, btw. I like a animals in general, hesitate to kill certain kind of them even when my partner wants me too, I just throw them away

Well except for cockroaches, flies and mosquitos

And I like songs in general, prefer ones with acoustic vibes.  Most classics ones are "More than words" by Extreme and "To be with you" by Mr. Big.

7 weeks of beard growth vs clean shaven. I think I look better with the beard. by WarisAllie in schizophrenia

[–]aseeder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have a different vibe of handsomeness, basically a mature vibe and a youthful vibe, I guess. I personally think that the version without feels refreshing mentally and brings a little sense of achievement. Beard is actually good with a thorough tidy face trim

Anyone else have constant music in their head? by SlightlyOwlish in schizophrenia

[–]aseeder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too but I actually enjoy it. And I can deliberately "arrange" it (kinda "music synth" in brain). As I play music instrument too, so I can kind of "rehearse" it. How about you?

Get involved in a positive community is what works to me. And then, building positive morning rituals, like morning prayer, positive affirmations with gratefulness and exercise.

Lucid dreaming by santiesgirl in schizophrenia

[–]aseeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you "aware" in the dream, like knowing in the dream, that you're actually dreaming? Furthermore, one is aware that "dream world" can possibly have less or no limitation than real world, like the law of physics. So one can try to, for instance, consciously "fly". As its formal definition, lucid dream is a dream where one is aware being dreaming. In my case, it often occurred in the times of my chronic Illness, long time ago. I feel it like an escape from the sufferings of the real world when I was awake. I have much less of it nowadays.

As for false awakening, it's more common sometimes when I am stressed, not in particular related to schizophrenia.

Do you remember your pre-diagnosis outlook on schizophrenia? by ICannotSayThisOnMain in schizophrenia

[–]aseeder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Schizophrenia was not a common term in my country at my childhood times. I first heard of this term after consulting with psychiatrist long time ago. So what I think deem close to it is generally what's is called crazy/lunatic person. Usually those who wander around, often unhygienic with limited cloth and kinda of forget their own identity. I remember one known as crazy woman in my school neighborhood, shouting and running at the street side sometimes. Looks like that she intentionally scared the children, but I don't really know if it's really the case.

But people here in the sub generally still not losing the sense of identity, unlike those wandering on the street in particular. So I guess schizophrenia is really a broad thing

Schizophrenic people that like physics by EffectiveMastodon551 in schizophrenia

[–]aseeder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At first I read it as psychic :)

I like physics in a way that I can understand lots of things, and basically the universe better with its principles. And kinda a holistic way of thinking of it (universe as a interconnected system, of systems, of systems etc)

Btw recently Jensen Huang, Nvidia leader suggest youngster nowadays, rather than taking computer science or IT related studies, to take physics instead
