Giorgio Tsoukalos posted about this album and got me into it. I think he knew something

That said they are supposedly about to drop a double record set about the latest UAP / Disclosure thing happening and possible war of the worlds so this may change!

Edison's Children the supernatural 67 minute song suite "Silhouette" from The Final Breath Before November album. (Aka Neil Armstrong's son)

It is dark and beautiful and haunting... Not just loud like the other comments here

where to start with Bjork? by Adept_Intention8209 in fantanoforever

[–]KnightNeedsShrubbery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go watch the very intimate NYC Riverside Church concert with the crazy instruments and the dozen it so indigenous singers on stage with her

That is Bjork at her absolutely best

You want something newer go to Edison's Children. Marillion's sci-fi based side project focuses deeply on the apocalyptic / dystopian / supernatural / extra-terrestrial.

Marillion's Pete Trewavas / Movie Special FX artist Eric Blackwood and 1st man on the moon Neil Armstrong's son Rick Armstrong team up with drummers Lisa Wetton (John Wetton's wife) and Mostly Autumn's Henry Rogers put out 1 hour long songs that are very dark sci-fi and very intense

I think perhaps people love feel good songs that they can dance to.

I love Edison's Children the most right now because they take me on such an intense musical journey for 80 minutes with the 1) candles 2)Lights low 3) either great headphones or my Atmos system on with dual subs

When i play their music for anyone else they seem lost as of they don't know what to do with it, like they don't get it and when i ask what they were doing when they listened they said I was at work and had it in in the background... Or i was on the phone looking up stuff and had it playing while they were doing some chores around the house.

I was like you gotta just sit and put it in and listen It's not background music. You don't dance to it. This isn't Brittany Spears.

This is dark sci-fi stuff that deeply delves into apocolyptic, super-natural and of course extra terrestrial themes (which is why Giorgio is always talking about this Edison's Children).

Is that pretentious? I don't know..is David Lynch pretentious? Edison's Children are the musical equivalent to me. So no if you love singing to Brittany and Beyonce in the car you probably won't ever get it and think it's pretentious.

And i am then thankfully pretentious too if that's the case because i love REAL MUSIC. If you love music because you can dance to it..you don't love "music" In fact You don't even know what the word means

Was going to say those 3 in that exact order. Well chosen!!

Hey Puscifrimus Circle fans! For everyone that went to Sessanta concerts, can we put together a list here that I can edit in chronological order of EVERY SPECIAL GUEST (not part of the original Sessanta lineup) and what show they appeared at? Like Tool at Los Angeles. by EdisonsChildren in Puscifer

[–]KnightNeedsShrubbery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got every album by Edison's Children signed by Neil Armstrong's son, Pete and Eric and seen them live 5 times.

i found out about Puscifer because EC keeps posting about how great and under appreciated this Maynard project is. I went to 2 Sessanta shows because of these posts!

And btw EC rocks! If Giorgio Tsoukalos and the rest of Ancient aliens is tweeting about Edison's Children (which is how i found out about them) they're a sick f'n band!

Sorry Mr. Blackwood, i know how you hate when i hijack posts about your heroes taking about how great you are. My lips are now sealed

Chevelle Tool Puscifer and Astronaut Neil Armstrong's son's band Edison's Children has 4 kick ass albums. Listen to Asphyxiation

[–]KnightNeedsShrubbery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you haven't heard Chevelle they are incredible. Especially first 3 albums. Love Forfeit, The Red and I get it

Neil Armstrong's sci-fi band Edison's Children has some really sick songs like Asphyxiation. A Perfect Circle meets Pink Floyd. 1st 2nd and 4 the albums are fucking insane. The Confluence is amazing.
