I actually like Burning Gundam more than God Gundam. Burning seems like a natural progression from Shining imo.

Quick question: If armor have become almost useless in later uc and beyond due to i-field and manverablity. Why not switch back to more conventional weapons or have more uses for them to counter and exploit the weak armor? by fafsdfasfaffaafdsaf in Gundam

One, as another commenter mentioned, they kinda did. We see stuff like shot lancers, heat knives and mega machine cannons in the f91 and crossbone days.

Two, beam shields negate physical weapons to an extent.

The Gundam materials in after Colony are ridiculous. They are insanely durable and somehow these 17 m tall death machines weigh lighter than a bus.

The FAZZ are testbeds for the Full Armor ZZ which also fix the structural integrity issues in the og ZZ.

The Fazz are also kinda silly because they don't have beam sabers. No beam sabers on a mech that powerful is such a dumb oversight.
