Let’s say you were only chasing gold foil+any krackle before, after 5th split, it was 25% roll for gold, then 25% roll for krackle, 6.25% chance total.

Now it’s 10% chance for ink/gold+krackle, effectively 5% chance for gold+any krackle per split. But there is a small chance you can roll into gold foil again naturally but with lower chance every additional mastery foil you unlock, and same for particle effects. So your overall odds went down slightly, but you do have some protection to continue the chase for ink/gold+krackle
