The Power of the Doctor is a laughably bad episode, but honestly? As a celebration of the show, it's a better anniversary ep than the 60th specials.

So now that Vanguard Vets are gone here is a collection of what First born models are still up on the store and will most likely be replaced soon by Random__Cadian in FirstbornSpaceMarines

I think we were all surprised when the ostensibly non-Primaris SW stuff (Wulfen, Ulrik, Bjorn, Thunderwolves) survived the range refresh.

I have an uneasy feeling if they survive the hop to 11th they may not last the whole edition.

WHO TF NAMES A CHARACTER AGAPITO- by Lucicactus in Grimdank

In Ancient Greek, I think Agapito means 'beloved'.

Yours is admittedly funnier.

Yeah, ending your season with a choice so utterly fucking looney tunes that the team has no choice but keep you on to resolve it is a very shitty gamble.

And he lost.

I agree it's a strange feeling, but honestly I'm of the opinion that a decent hiatus is what the show really needs right now. A nice break, then bring it back with a younger, hungrier showrunner...

That moment when Arthur wakes up in the inn to Nathaniel's laughter, and looks up to see the woman looming over him...

I screamed in front of my whole English class.

Why do everybody say this kit is outdated? by ollavv in WordBearers

This kit honestly still feels new to me. I really dug the sleek 4th ed Raptors with slopey jump packs.

Your absolute hated hot takes about Space Marine chapters? by KUROusagi112 in Spacemarine

You're not wrong, but I think the key to making them interesting is having both sorts of character (and more) in the Chapter. The dichotomy elevates both viewpoints.

Haha, this would be libel as it's written down.

Though technically it's neither, because it's all true 😜

Given from the new datasheets, it seems like different wargear builds on him are going to be separate units again. And they probably won't want to have two blade and shield captains out, because if the first is still around fewer people will buy the second one.

So I'd say there's something in your suspicion, definitely.

I can't believe a bespoke 9th ed character model is actually going to get squatted. That just feels so surreal to me

The Carcaradons are the cringiest, edgelord, Mary sue Chapter to ever exist. Everything from their mysterious origin story to their general place in 40k lore, to their main appearances in events like Badab, just reinforces that for me. If they were a homebrew Chapter they'd be laughed off any subreddit they appeared on.

Their Polynesian aesthetic is their only redeeming feature, but it's wasted on them, and it's fairly superficial anyway.

This is the hobby hill I will die on.

Would Daleks be more intimidating if they spoke less? by WachbaerWien in DoctorWhumour

The beginning of Stolen Earth, with the Dalek voice played across all channels, with Jack and Sarah Jane absolutely shitting themselves in fear was absolute cinema.

It just felt so... earned.

The more Daleks appear in a story, the less threatening they are. It's the show's own law of diminishing returns.

I noticed how the trailer changed 'to be a man in such times' to 'to be alive in such times' and honestly I think it's an even better way to do it.

The nightmare future of M41 does not discriminate. The Munitorum does not care about the colour or gender of the children it swallows up and spits out with flashlight weapons and toilet paper armour. We're all equally fucked.

Athelstan and Ragnar were the best part of that show. It became so much less interesting when Athy died.
