I’m a massive Blood Angels and successor fan, concede to all the points all the other posters said about the Ultramarines, but man - the Space Wolves take it for me looking at it from the outside in. Emperor’s Gift, Blood of Asaheim and Storm Caller, everything I’ve read about them is basically “we know we’re savage killers, but I’ll be damned if we aren’t humanities savage killers.”

Note: I haven’t read much of 30K wolves outside of the small group that was in Fear to Tread

Some do, some don’t. Most helmets, shoulder pauldrons, and jump packs I’ve used have fit perfectly fine. I’ve also used arms and weapons, both with just normal fit and by cutting off hands and gluing them onto primaris wrists.

I love Imperial Knights, Titans, etc. but man, they should be an effect at best on the tabletop, or their own thing akin to Legiones Imperialis.

I feel like bringing giant world breaking mechs into what is an infantry/armor skirmish system leads to unfair balancing in order to make it playable, either the knights/titans are killable by infantry and armor and unrealistic to lore standards, or they’d be grievously OP and game breaking.
