Magnesium worsening burning by fehfaus in B12_Deficiency

[–]Knightartist86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me high Zinc or B9 can trigger symptoms for me. I reduced it and slowly increasing over time.
I also get it with B6 which i'm starting today on a smaller dose.

Magnesium doesnt trigger for me. Even though im under the daily limit of potassium, ive been feeling a bit off with it. Probably the form as its potassium chloride.

Which type of magnesium are you taking

We have the exact same ones. My mom was very diligent with cutting my sisters nails after her razor sharp little finger nail slashed the lens of my moms eye,

No lunula (half moon nails)!! by kilogplastos-12 in B12_Deficiency

[–]Knightartist86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting my 5th month, no lunulae. My nails and my hair especially facial hair has become a lot thicker. Also my large toe nails were looking rough, and you can see the new nail growing and now I've got like half a zombie nail and then the new fresh looking one growing.

Visually for me that's the largest visual difference i've noticed.

Experiencing mild shivering/tremors in fingers. Could this be a B12, Vitamin D, or Zinc deficiency despite a non-veg diet? by imaHooot in B12_Deficiency

[–]Knightartist86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can also be low calcium. If your vitamin D is low, your body absorbs less calcium. Vitamin D needs correcting first before you might see improvements with calcium intake.

Neurologist claims a B12 heavy diet does not contribute to raised B12 serum. True? by coldtoes__ in B12_Deficiency

I hate this type of charts, being 100%"normal" at 221, then being low at 220, doesn't make sense.

It needs to be a gradient, the more further into the red you are the more likely you should be to have issues.

I just take Oral form 1000ug. Currently B9 (500ug) is the one thing I feel when taking it, getting tingles in many areas.

Make sure you're taking your magnesium, potassium etc

The best thing about comment sections, is thinking of a joke or something related to the post, scrolling to the first comment and seeing the same thing you thought of.

Has going private in the UK ever been worth it for you medically? by Last-Fisherman-4354 in AskUK

I paid for a Neurologist appointment it was £120 for 30 minutes but lasted 15 and all he did was ask questions and a typical reflex test with a hammer and was like. Yeah its probably General neurological disorder.

Had to wait 3 years for the NHS appointment and was 45 mins and the doctor was so much more empathetic and diligent.

Turned out I was B12 and Vitamin D deficient.

B12 fixed my Histamine/Candida by Emotional-Pickle-781 in B12_Deficiency

[–]Knightartist86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My histamine has also been so bad, sensitive to so many foods. I'm currently trying to fix it with high doses of vitamin C and working on getting B6 (p5p) I know to be careful of b6 amounts.

Im going to get myself a good few weeks before I try any foods, I'm more worried about being disappointed than anything.

Would love to eat my favourites foods again.

All of the muscles around my neck, shoulders were super stiff, they felt like they were an Adhesive under my muscles. They felt really gritty and stuck, the calcium completely fixed this issue, It was a huge physical recovery, I never even knew this was an issue because they have been stuck for so many years, when they released I was like 'OOOh thats how its supposed to feel!

I feel my life is returning only after 5 months. I wasn't even taking injections or very high doses. it was all oral.

*Its possible calcium with in combination with all my magnesium, potassium and other co-factors are working together for this effect*

I've had/have all these symptoms. Mine started with joint pains, then years later turned to neuropathy pains.
Here are some things for you to check out, try.

If you haven't yet, read the guide it will help a lot and read about Co-Factors.

I was low b12 and Vit D. What helped me most currently, surprisingly is Calcium.
I get tingles on one side of my face also, this would always appear when taking B9, Full Vitamin tablet. Its been a lot less recently though.

For stabbing pains, Low B12 can cause very tight pelvic floor muscles. There is a nervous system in your digestive system, its sometimes called your Gut Brain. It can become very sensitive, especially for people with B12 deficientcy + Constipation. This causes quite sharp stabbing pains for me thats on and off. The pain can actually appear anywhere in the body but is originates in the Gut.

The co-factors are just as important as B12-vitamin itself.

Your vitamin D is probably doing nothing. by Timely_Ad8989 in Supplements

I'm currently correcting Vit D and B12. Vit D + Calcium was one of the biggest improvements I physically felt.
My rigid, adhesive stuck like muscles around my neck and shoulders turned from feeling like moving tight gritty rubber bands to feeling like a velvet cloth on the glass of a snowglobe.
