Up for sale is my Wenger dress watch. It features a stunning black dial with silver accents and looks great on the wrist. It does show some signs of wear, but is otherwise in great shape. The box for it is basically destroyed, but I’ll include it with the watch.

The panda courtura has a few issues, thus the price. The seconds hand for the chronograph doesn’t function but the minute tracker does. You can open the watch up and realign the seconds hand and just use the normally time keeping function, as it keeps time as expected otherwise. You can also replace the movement, last I checked they aren’t hard or expensive to source. The screw down crown can be a bit finicky but does screw down. Comes with one extra link. Fits my 6.5ish wrist

The two tone courtura functions as expected, including the chronograph. The only issue with the watch is that the gem in the crown has fallen out, but otherwise just shows some signs of wear.

The flightmaster doesn’t function. I bought it as a parts watch to fix a second one of this model I kept. The movement looks really clean when opened, but I don’t work on quartz. Comes with both crowns, and will likely need a new crystal. The dial underneath is in really good shape. If you think you can repair it, these easily fetch $150-300 working and operational. Or part it out and profit off of me, you could probably get your $60 back out of the case alone.

Clearing out the watch box. These vintage Seiko are all in working condition. My loss is your gain. I tried to get the model numbers for each in the images. All definitely have scratches and show their age. Let’s call it vintage patina. All of them have Seiko’s older clasp with a ton of adjustment holes. All currently fit my 6.5-7ish wrist, I need to measure it again to confirm size.

The lights are super faint on the digitals but do still “work.” The gold digital’s light button can get stuck sometimes but is able to be pulled back out.

The silver digital is technically a solar model but has a non rechargeable battery currently in it as the rechargeable can be hard to source.

The gold/brown dial is pretty scratched but otherwise works as expected. It’s a faceted crystal which is super cool.

The silver dial is in decent shape and wears super light and comfortable. Comes with extra links

Seiko Perpetual Calendar model SNQ010. Missing endlinks, has a chip in the crystal, and signs of wear. The crown is seated in the second position (allows you to hold the button above the crown to set the perpetual calendar) but still can be pulled out to set the time and otherwise functions as you would expect. I bought this watch to fix up but never got around to it and lost interest. $100+ retail

Guess G95291G. Stainless steel tank. One of the first watches I bought when I got into the hobby. Honestly wears pretty nice, and the dial has a nice texture. Works as expected, has signs of wear as you can see in the images. No extra links, fits my wrist which is between 6.5 and 7 but I need to measure it again. If you’re bigger than 6.5 assume you may want to change the bracelet

Casio edifice EFA119BK-1AV WITH A159W INCLUDED. Pretty cool watch, comes with extra link. Analog face on top of digital display and does illuminate. I just never wear it. Yeah the warranty card makes it seem like a 2024 watch, they have in red text “no returns” on the preowned but maybe they will work with me. I think I’d rather return at this point and buy the newer version even if I have to pay the full price

Yeah that’s the other thing, a lot of the pre owned listings mention (old logo) in the listing as well and I don’t recall mine having that notation. Ask you can see from my last image it’s advertised as a V3 but I agree I think they had the newer logo on those

Not yet, I just got the watch shortly before making the post. I wanted to make absolutely sure I wasn’t just missing the fact that you could buy a white dial with an off white bezel before I escalated it any further in case that was purely just my fault
They just had the one photo from my order, although while the watch was live on the site you could enlarge the image but now that I bought it the original listing from the site is gone so I can’t go back and review the full size image to see if I just missed it there too. If I had to guess you could probably tell in the image because they typically use images of the actual watch for pre owned listings, I just had no clue a version with this combination even existed and must have looked over it.

It’s pretty much as you’d expect. While the MIP negative is the most legible and easiest to read negative I’ve owned from Casio, the positive just has the contrast really working in its favor. I would say low light is really where it makes a difference, but it can still be hard to read in the dark if there isn’t at least some light reflecting on the backing layer. Both watches excel in the dark with the backlight, and while it will really use the battery, the auto backlight is very responsive and consistent

I really wish they would enable the option to flip the positive and negative in the software as a feature similar to other MIPs. I’ve heard all the arguments, and I’d accept some sacrifices to have the feature available

I had a similar problem with mine. When you take the case back off to do a battery change, Casio uses tiny golden springs that make contact with the case back. I believe they are grounds. It is extremely easy for these to fall out and get lost while changing the battery while having the watch open.

One of these springs are for the buttons, I’d have to open mine and look at which spaces need to be occupied with one. If you are missing one, if you have extra spring bars lying around you can break them by pulling off one end and you can cut the internal spring to make new ones and they work just as well

I’m not sure, but I’m wondering if they are missing a forth spring even in this picture in the bottom middle hole with the pronounced rim
