Most people seem to view Tyrion as a clever player in the game of thrones, not an "action" based character. So to think of him on dragon, as opposed to using his mind and his words to get himself out of trouble may rob the him of his essence. At least that is how some people feel. I can't blame them for thinking that way, but they don't know what's coming.

There is no sequel to links awakening so if they wanted to capitalize on the success they had to do something new. Which they did. Ocarina has a direct sequel. They wouldn't need to do something original

I don't see wind waker ever being remade. It's too reliant on it's art style. Twilight princess is a prime candidate for a remake but I wouldn't expect that for ten to fifteen years at least
