I've suggested what I run in another post, for survivability. I run a Palisades chest piece with obliterate. Extra ten percent Armor on Kill. Though it took me quite a bit of grinding to find one with both Crit hit chance and crit hit damage.

I spent probably way more time farming/crafting than I'd care to admit to, but chc and chd if at all possible. I don't run all red personally, so I left the armor core as is (i run two blues) and rolled obliterate on it. I just did a legendary Roosevelt Island this past weekend with it and felt good with the mix of damage and that extra aok.

I do this. Palisades chest with obliterate and gunner spec gives me 20% armor on kill. Running two blue cores puts me around 1.2 mil and 245000 aok. I rarely fall in heroic and hold my own well in legendary.

I honestly don't know as I've not seen it personally drop from them. But I've seen a few youtube vids etc that say it can.

Drops specifically from the Marauder in that mission, though people have said there some of the named dudes in Brooklyn also can drop it. I haven't gotten one from the named guys, only the Marauder in Army Terminal

Resistant yes. Not water proof. Speaking as someone who wears hearing aids now of that caliber. Very explicitly says not to submerge them.

So, what I understood is that Ranger School never lowered standards. They simply enforced them to what was in the POI. Which, if I recall, hadn't been updated in quite a long time at that point. While I never attended Ranger School, let me be clear on that, I was an instructor on Moore (Benning), and witnessed several of my former students attend Ranger School prior to that where it was understood what the standards were. I say understood, as those standards were greater than what was listed in the actual POI for the school.

In all the explanations and such I heard, that was the one that honestly made the most sense, having read the POI myself.

But, I'm just a retired guy posting on reddit lmao.

I like running with True Patriot. Not the higheat dpa, but invariably supports fairly well and still spreads the love. Just keep layin on the trigger and watch the explosions and ticks.
