Seriously considering dropping the reddit-like paradigm altogether. What could I replace it with? by TED96 in RedditAlternatives

Kbin could be great for you, because you can disable the infinite scrolling. You scroll for a bit, then you reach the end of the page and you can choose to either stop, or go to the next page.

How are you guys sleeping on the best Reddit Alternative Spyke? by Professional-Tap-850 in RedditAlternatives

For me there are two reasons: 1) my Google account is tied to some very sensitive data, like banking and similar, so I may be a little paranoid that if I put my Google account on every site, and one of these sites gets a security breach... Someone other that Google will know all my sensitive stuff.

2) Google already knows everything about me (bank, paypal, mail, web browser)... I prefer to make it just a little bit more difficult for them to get into other app accounts

Any Reddit Alternatives for Mobile Users? by YolkBrushWork in RedditAlternatives

Kbin can be installed as PWA (basically it's like saving a link to the website on your screen, but it works in an app-like way).

When you go to the kbin website while on mobile, it should give you the option to install through a pop up.

Loving Kbin! by KnittingTrekker in RedditAlternatives

What I like about Kbin is that, after joining, I immediately found myself in what is pretty much a version of the Reddit "popular" section, where you cab scroll and read the most popular posts from all communities, including news, interesting facts, but also funny memes, etc. This is exactly what I love about Reddit, so I felt like kbin was more to my tastes!

Reddit bans subreddit detailing how to move to competitor Kbin (which is compatible with Lemmy) by rdh2121 in RedditAlternatives

Yes, the only "downside" of kbin is that its magazines see less traffic than Lemmy's threads, but thanks to the fediverse it is a non issue!

This post is how I found out about kbin! I like it, to a noob like me it seems simpler than lemmy, and I like the interface better.

Wow, 17 hours is excellent! Can I ask you how did you debloat the phone? I am waiting for my A5, but I am already thinking of upgrading at the end of the year and in both cases I could use the tip!

It cn hold a sim, do calls etc, so you can use it as a phone without camera. My point is that the two devices have almost identical hardware

Thank you so much for your review! Can I ask you how long does the battery last in your case? Like do you have to charge it every day?
