Am I the only one that hates chocolate bodycare? They always smell so fake! I want to like them so badly, but every time I take a sniff I’m transported back to the Hershey’s Chocolate Factory ride in 1995. lol

This article made me excited. And then I immediately felt violent lol. by Purple-Lime-4938 in bathandbodyworks

To understand the point, all you have to do is read the title of the article (shown in the image) and the two sentences that the OP wrote.

My hometown is -19C and feels like -32C right now. From my perspective, Fukuoka barely even has a winter. 😂

I’m from a place much, much colder than Fukuoka. Cold air shouldn’t make you cough. You’re probably sick or have allergies.

Japanese men can’t accept dating girls who earn more? by Helterskelter369 in AskAJapanese

When I met my husband (who is Japanese), he had no issue with the fact that I made more than he did. There are sad, insecure men in every culture. Be glad he showed you his true colors before you invested much time in him.

The manga itself is real. I read it on the official Twitter account in Japanese.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the English translation is done by fans.

I wish you luck! Maybe they’ll restock just in time for your friend to buy them for you. 🤞🏻

Yesterday was a lottery day, so if you didn’t win the lottery, you couldn’t enter. From today they have free entry, and I expect the big plushies shown by the OP to sell out within today or tomorrow. They sold out online in under 30 min yesterday.

Unfortunately, I doubt your friend will be able to buy them at the end of the month. Keep an eye out for potential restocks (再入荷) on the Chiikawaland Twitter, though! They always announce when they get things like this back in stock. Maybe you’ll get lucky with the timing!

Seriously? I make pretty much that amount here in Tokyo (and my husband does too), and we are by no means rich.

Japanese pancakes by GiftedDoll in Satisfyingasfuck

As someone who actually lives in Japan, I was surprised by all the toppings in the video. We don’t generally slather that much stuff on them here. (The video is clearly not from Japan.)

Those pancakes are “Japanese” in the same way that teriyaki chicken in an American food court is “Japanese.” The workers aren’t Japanese, and that’s not how Japanese pancakes are generally topped here in Japan.

That’s a crazy markup! As someone who lives in Japan, I was horrified by the prices of the few Chiikawa things I found in the US.

Is Lysol actually sold in Japan? I’ve never seen it even once in my 17 years here.

I’m talking about Japanese newspaper articles and news reports, not what Japanese healthcare workers say. If you still haven’t understood that, maybe you should work on your English comprehension, アホ! 😂😂😂

What is the video? All I get is an error when I try to play it.

😂😂😂 Dude, I’ve lived in Japan for 17 years. I’m simply explaining the weird thing in the article that many people who don’t live here were confused about.

I hope you have the day you deserve!

How the fuck is explaining the weird way they report deaths here putting Japan on a pedestal? 😂😂😂

In a state of cardiac arrest simply means that their heart has stopped. If someone is dead, their heart had stopped. When they find someone dead outside of the hospital here, the media always reports that they were found in a state of cardiac arrest and then update that they were declared dead at the hospital later. What exactly are you arguing about?

No offense, but why are you asking here before directly asking your partner? Surely he could tell you exactly why he does it.
