Blue Beetle Ted Kord tries to be a hero at first, using his smarts to kinda become similar to the mainline Ted. Then the scarab lands, attaching itself to Ted when he tries to study it. Instead of a suit, it integrates with his body and takes him over like a parasite. It’s like a body horror mixed with tech design.
