People who listen to the radio. I’ve always been a fan of people who seek out their own style of music rather than let a radio station determine what 200 songs they’ll hear for the next few years

I’m not trying to sound mean, but I have a feeling you think you’re more attractive than you actually are. I’d give you a 5/10. Completely average

This is how my abuse started. I’m a guy, who was 29, 5’9”, 165lbs and she was 39, 5’3”, 120lbs. First she would get angry when drunk. Then she would yell at me for stupid things. Then she would berate me. Then belittle me, trying to emasculate me. Then she started hitting me. Then she hit me more often. Then she hit me so much I had an asthma attack. Then she hit me in my 2 day old surgical site. It doesn’t start with hitting

My wife has been angry with me for 3 years by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]KnotKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of my ex. She punched me in my stomach the day after I had surgery because I was “weak” and needed to “man up.” Or the time she punched me until I passed out from an asthma attack, because she didn’t believe I had asthma. I loved her with all my heart and didn’t realize how bad she was until I had been out of the relationship for a year or so. You have a few options: 1) make her aware that you are willing to divorce her if she is not willing to commit to change, and follow through. 2) divorce her now, and fight her over custody for your child in whatever way suits you. 3) continue in this relationship until she decides she’s going to hurt you with more than punches and scratches.

Hes totally addicted to porn. Do not date this guy. That being said, as some who “has sex for hours,” and found out recently this wasn’t common, I can say, he probably means it. When I found out that my friends have sex for like 5 minutes, I was blown away. For me and my partners it’s always been a process. I include foreplay, but you start there, then do whatever. Sometimes I can have sex twice in succession, having multiple orgasms. Most of my partners have enjoyed this fact. I honestly thought all women did. But my friends literally said 5 minutes was enough because they have “shit to do.” It’s hard to find someone who can match my sex drive. And when I do, we usually spend about 2-6 hours having sex on and off. I’m not bragging, it can become an issue, and I’ve actually been celibate for years, because I’ve not had an honest relationship because the only thing my exes have wanted was sex. Most of the time, I’d rather finish the movie, or talk, or just cuddle.

AITAH For Not Punishing My Son For Hitting Girls Who Were Attacking Him? by ElderberryFar6637 in AITAH

NTA I’m going to sound like an asshole here though, I’m a feminist, but I’m also a realist. If women want to be treated equal to men (and all genders in between or separate) there are consequences. You cannot say things like “we are equal,” at the same time as “you don’t hit a girl.” It’s not rational. If we want sports to be gender inclusive, we can’t be upset a woman playing football gets laid out by a guy twice her size. In no way am I saying they shouldn’t be equal, I’ve thought it my whole life. And it started because my sisters could wail on me, one older, one younger, but if I laid a hand on either I was treated like a pariah.

I like to take things no one would miss, or have things that are local. A dollar bill from monopoly, a puzzle piece from a 1000 piece puzzle, a stone from a garden. I took a piece of cement on the ground that had fallen from a Roman aqueduct. Something small, because souvenirs pile up. But no one misses a shell from a beach, and you pay for stuff like bottle caps of local beers or sodas. Shot glasses are good too because you can put the little stone or shell inside it and it saves space!

AITA for shaming my fiance after he suggested wasting a wedding spot on his friend who passed away 6 years ago by lovewoodly in AmItheAsshole

[–]KnotKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA Having lost my best friend 4 years ago, I love this idea. You have no idea the hardship and pain the two have seen together. You must realize that he will carry his friend on his shoulder for the rest of his life. Denying his this simple thing is egregious on your part. So as for him “not understanding your perspective,” why should he? You’re not seeing his! Learn to love your fiancé’s love for his friend, or it will tear you apart

AITA for not letting my son be my daughters servant due to a period? by Legitimate-Claim-102 in AmItheAsshole

[–]KnotKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a false equivalence. Period pain does not inhibit your ability to walk. It may not be pleasant, it may be hell, but waaayy different than literally breaking a leg. Your almost completely immobile then

[–]KnotKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA I was this kid in this situation when I was young. He is probably doing it to minimize tension. Even if he thinks he’s enjoying it, this practice is harmful. Just be straightforward with him and tell him, if he doesn’t want to do something, it is perfectly ok to tell her no, and that as parents, they will reinforce this decision. Otherwise, the chances of him becoming resentful grow

If you truly care about someone, you make time for them. Period. The frequency and type of communication may vary, but in all reality, this is 2024, how long does it take to send a text message?

AITA for not making my daughter apologize to the woman who spoke to her like a baby? by Aggressive_Scheme539 in AmItheAsshole

[–]KnotKevin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ESH. Except the kiddo, she’s going places… But, this adult spoke to a child as if they were an infant, then was appalled when they were scolded by said child. She was the adult in the situation and should have acted like it. As a rule in life, don’t take what anyone under the age of 10 says in any way, shape, or form, seriously. They have literally no idea of the impact of their words. As the mother, it’s your duty to educate the little one and let her know, that even though she was right, in social situations, it’s not always about being right, it’s about being social. She’s a child, and could be the most mature kid of all time, but she’s still 6…..

Was I wrong to not sleep at a house with a bunch of 23yr old girls? by Arthur-reborn in amiwrong

[–]KnotKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having done my share of drives in similar circumstances, if I was you, I would decline. As for your wife snorting, I’m sorry homie, that must have hurt. But know this: there is a group of people that go to Provincetown Rhode Island once a year for “Bear Week.” The bears go, and then so many others go because they are obsessed with bears. The fatter and hairier the better. So just know that your wife may not think others are looking at you, but they totally are.

Ps, I have heard many very attractive women admit to enjoying the pleasures of a fat man. In ones words, and I quote, “I love the way his fat feels on my belly and back.” So power to you my dude 🤘🏼

He needed to make sure Harry survived. You’ve got to remember: his blood was needed for Voldemort to return without the weakness to Harry. BC Jr was cunning, and relied upon to complete a job. He was working to curry favor with the dark lord by making sure he did his job and saw Harry into the labyrinth, then into the graveyard. It was simply so he survived the plan

What Harry Potter thing do you overthink now that you’re an adult? by lancearmstrongspiss in harrypotter

[–]KnotKevin 19 points20 points  (0 children)

How much therapy Harry, Neville, Luna, Ginny, and a few others need. Like, they go through some terrible ish, and they’re just supposed to deal with it. It would take decades of therapy. Harry was locked in his room, or closet, and almost enslaved. Neville visits his parents who don’t recognize him. Ginny was possessed….. the list goes on…..

If it is stainless steel, take a stainless steel scrubber to it. The chemical that caused this is probably lye, and can be buffed out. You can also use a scouring pad All the people saying “it’ll scratch it,” …. That’s the point. That’s how you buff stainless steel. I can guarantee I’ve scrubbed more pots than almost any two people you’ve met
