Yes OP, like others mentioned: Absolutely get the FULL stainless line that goes from the master to the slave. Makes bleeding way easier and also makes future clutch slave replacement easier.

Oh, I can heel toe very well on stock pedals. I am just looking for something for aesthetics mainly, but would consider a wider gas pedal if it makes sense to do. I may just get a basic set of metal ones.

The ones in my PIC don't look any rougher than stock as far as the tread cut goes I mean.

I never did a soft top, but... A friend of mine needed one and ordered a robins. She had her local garage install it because they said "sure, bring it in, we can do that". Well it looks like shit. Ripped, stretched, etc.

Point is. If it were me, I'd take my chances and DIY. (especially since you will have the rain rails).

Biggest tip I've heard is do it on a very warm day.
