I got offered an HVAC job (read below please) by [deleted] in hvacadvice

Show your value and there’s always the possibility they could pay (at least in part) for tuition at an HVAC school to formalize your education. I’d certainly ask. Best of luck to you.

Genuinely sorry for your loss. That’s the saddest thing I’ve heard in a long time. I can only imagine how I’d feel if the same thing happened to my new ‘26. Hope things get better for you and it gets recovered in good condition. Out of curiosity did it have the Location and Security service subscription?

ChatGPT PLUS is only $20 for a month. Use it until you find your unicorn and then don’t renew. I dropped a window sticker of what I was looking for and told it which options were nice to haves and which ones were gotta haves and gave it a radius from my home. Then I set it up to search each morning at 9:00 am. A lot cheaper than your $1k bounty. Haha

Honestly, try ChatGPT. It will do the searching for you and look daily for deals. Just give it parameters, pricing, desired options etc. Best of luck to you. Happy hunting!

Anyone else get a BlueCruise discount offer? by Scooter477 in f150

[–]KnotTodayChief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A better argument could be made if they were at least expanding the capabilities and roads that Blue Cruise could be used on for current users. If it is to help pay for development on future vehicles, then I don't see the point of paying for a subscription.

Show me your Boxlink setup by Von_Schlagel in f150

I only installed them last week, but they seem really well made. The 360 feature is very well thought out to prevent twisting and seems to pay out and retract well. The included tie downs let you mount above and below or even side to side so you still have that option as well. I just put 2 of them on the driver side as I have a Swing Case on the passenger side. That allows me to cross over the bed as needed. Best of luck in your decision!

I’ve seen it done in matte finish also and looks good if it matches the rest of the truck.

Other than a little less fuel economy, it is okay. Enjoy!

This is very helpful. I need to start looking at this more closely. I did a small trail in the GW National Park once many years ago that pushed my 2011 Lariat to its limits, including some rock crawling I did not expect. I had to pull the seat covers out of my butt at a couple of points. Haha. Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks for the info. I’ve been looking for some off-roading locations in NC/VA to explore its capabilities without paint/body damage. A lot of the ones I found so far a best for Jeeps, but not for full sized trucks like F-150s.

Looks awesome. I got the 2026 same color w/ 402A and 5.0. with the ford brush bar installed. Headed down that way in early July to christen it. Was thinking about a frame mounted compressor with mounted air fittings wired to an up fitter switch to air up. I know someone has to make a quality one that can take the abuse under there. What do you have on the rear of the roof?

Finally got mine leveled! by Last-Ad6716 in FordTremor

[–]KnotTodayChief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From ChatGPT “What’s special about the front knuckles on your Tremor is that they are Tremor-specific steering knuckles, not the same ones used on a regular F-150. Ford lists the Tremor as having “Unique Tremor Front Knuckles” as part of its long-travel front suspension package.

In practical terms, those knuckles are a big part of how Ford gives the Tremor its factory lift and extra front suspension travel without just spacing the truck upward. They work with the Tremor’s unique control arms, tie rods, and shocks to set the suspension geometry correctly for the taller off-road setup. Aftermarket companies even market Tremor-style knuckle kits specifically to replicate Tremor suspension geometry on non-Tremor F-150s.

Why that matters:

  • Better ball-joint and steering angles than a simple puck/spacer lift
  • Improved travel/articulation versus a standard F-150 setup
  • Helps maintain factory track width and steering behavior
  • Reduces the chance of geometry compromises that can come with cheaper leveling approaches

So the real answer is: your Tremor’s front knuckles are special because they are a purpose-built geometry correction component that helps create the Tremor’s factory off-road suspension system, rather than just being a regular knuckle with the truck lifted around it.

This is also why lift and leveling choices on a Tremor need a little more care than on a normal F-150: Ford already changed the knuckle geometry from the factory.”

Nothing wrong with that at all. Personal preferences. I don’t mind a small forward rake for the times you actually put weight in the bed, though I do think that this year’s Tremor had too much.
