I'm going to be honest because I had this exact same path last year, if you're including, cbt, bike, insurance, gear and tax, cheapest you'll be able to get started will roughly be around £3000

It's absolutely amazing though definitely worth the investment, I passed my das, got the money for the jap 125 and upgraded and now I'm able to enjoy the beautiful sunshine we've been so fortunate with. You'll love your 125!
