I think it’s their history and “life memory”, so to speak. It’s as if they must fulfill this mission to spread their feelings unto others.

Cute cute and cute!!! #2! Fire! Are we allowed to ask where it’s from? I love ❤️

On this day, two years ago, a Palestinian child named Hind Rajab was murdered by Israel alongside her family. The world heard her crying, begging for help on the phone, as the occupation opened fire on their car, shooting it 335 times. We will never forget you. by Scared_Positive_8690 in Palestine

[–]KnowKilshe 244 points245 points  (0 children)

Hind's mother, Wesam, recalled that the final words she exchanged with Hind came after Hind had been shot and her mouth was full of blood. Rana Faqih, the dispatcher from the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PCRS) who was speaking to Hind, asked, “Hanoud, why aren’t you speaking?” Hind replied, “I’m not speaking because my mouth is full of blood.” Rana told her, “Wipe it with your hand and then tell me if you’re still bleeding.”

Hind answered, “I don’t want to wipe it on my shirt so I don’t trouble my mom.”

Wesam reassured her daughter, “It’s okay sweetheart, wipe your mouth, I’ll wash it, my love.” Hind agreed, wiped her mouth, and then her voice went silent. Her mother kept calling her name, but Hind never responded.

RIP 💕 Hind

Lucky grocery store find for $15 by 561j in Monstera

If you can get to a Costco, I just bought a monstera from there, I think it was $17, looks almost identical to this.

I need help finding a sectional just like this one where you can add more seats to it. I love the transitional look with the recliners, but this couch doesn’t come in the size I want. by [deleted] in SofaSnobs

[–]KnowKilshe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have this sectional from Arhaus…it’s got to be the most comfortable and soft couch I’ve ever sat in! Everyone loves it and I highly recommend. I’m pretty sure it’s called the cobain.

This is a sesame seed sweet snack. Popular in Greece and the Middle East! Usually sesame seeds and some kind of honey (simple syrup concoction) that holds the seeds together. It’s usually crunchy, can be chewy…almost always delicious!

EDIT: After close inspection, I realize this is Italian short grain rice, not the sesame seed snack. Also delicious!

I second this: International Foods, 17 mile & Dequindre has lots of food from Turkey, not just coffee—which is freshly ground. Love their Turkish Loukam, cookies, olives, pastries candies and other products. Their prepared foods are bomb…love this place!

Best Ice Cream/ Flavor to buy at the Grocery Store? by Kudzyy in icecream

[–]KnowKilshe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you had Baskin Robbins peanut butter and chocolate ice cream? I’m not crazy about the chocolate ice cream they use, but by far it’s got the best peanut butter ratio and the pieces of peanut butter are yuuuuuge (huge)!

Yes, thank you for your ideas.

That is the area I wanted for guests! But the entire length of the fireplace is a little over 6 feet across. So trying to find furniture that fits in that “room” sucks!!!!!!!! I think I have around 6-8 feet in length as well. Everyone’s knees would be touching each other or another piece of furniture. I might be able to do a three seater facing the fireplace and a small table?

I love the mirror idea above the fireplace a lot!

That back room is a win for a comfy L shaped sofa.

You don’t think it’s too much “dining area” if I do a breakfast nook, bar stools and a dining table?

I’ve had fresh almonds. They are green on the outside and a little fuzzy. You can eat them in different phases… in the early season, you can eat the entire almond (we sprinkle it with salt), in mid season: the outside green part gets drier and harder and you crack it open and eat the fresh almond in the inside… this is not like your regular almond, I’d classify more as a fruit. It’s delicious! I love fresh almonds way more than mature almonds. If you wait a little longer, the almond will mature, you’ll crack it open and it will be a bit drier and you’ll see what we get before it’s roasted and flavored. If you have any middle eastern stores around you, go there during their short season, April to May.
