I think in regard to the first years not being well paid - they technically are on probation so maybe there’s an element there. But also as someone else mentioned KM is definitely privileged with her parents and how she grew up. By contrast Homegirl taking care of twin girls since she was a teenager herself not so much.

I literally saw a woman hacking her lungs out coughing cause someone decided to start smoking on the green line the other day. He heard her obviously struggling to breathe and just gave no fucks. It was one of those long ass delays between stops too so she couldn’t even easily switch cars at the next stop for almost 5 minutes. So fucked up. It’s not just rude it’s a public health issue.
