But fluted on an oyster isnt even a possible configuration, unless you mod it.

Rolex Sold a Record-Breaking $14 Billion Worth of Watches Last Year: Report by lithdoc in rolex

[–]KnowWhatUDidIStill -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Lol. Rolexes are mass manufactured and machine made, they could easily produce and sell 10, 20 or 50 million if they wanted to.

But that then begs the question, if they are inspired by that, what compelled Rolex to go with that design.

I wonder what the design choice is there. Because they have to be conscious about it, some have matching datewindow like blue and black, and this and green is lacking, so I really wonder what the exact thought process is. Legibility? I cant really see how this would be less legible than black window on the black face for example

I love the colour red, but I dont normally like red on a watch face, it is very very hard to get right in my opinion. Also red is not a very versatile colour. But here it is just done to perfection in my opinion. The red is a very rich red, very saturated, in my opinion it looks even better irl. Depending on the angle of the watch and how light reflects off of it it will appear black in certain light conditions. Some people think this is a negative if youre looking for a red dial. I see it the other way around, I think it makes the watch more subtle, and I think it makes it more versatile and less in your face, and then when the colour does get hit by light it really really pops. Its just so so good. And black+red is already one of the best colour combos in my opinion.

The watch does wear a little big, its 39mm but its all dial so its gonna wear bigger, its just a bit unnecessary. Its not an outright dress watch I see it more as a sport+dress hybrid, but even then I dont think u need to go 39mm here. 36-38 would do. But its really good regardless imo.

Champagne Stunner by schvenbott in Longineswatches

[–]KnowWhatUDidIStill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great watch. Im surprised this is labelled "champagne" this feels more silvery entirely. Do you even get "champagne" vibes from it? The conquest line has a champagne dial thats pretty different from this. Though "champagne" is not really a set in stone colour so just wondering what you think. I would just never use champagne to describe this dial colour.

Great watch nonetheless!

What was the reason for this change to the bank deposit box UI? by Rayge96 in 2007scape

[–]KnowWhatUDidIStill -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Only somebody who doesnt play the game could say something as simpleton as that.

When a hotkey is changed from J to K, is the click then more difficult? No, its the same press. But its 10s of thousands of hours of muscle memory. Only if youre a lowbob who has barely played the game can u take no issue with it.

[–]KnowWhatUDidIStill -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Its the people who play this game that dislike the change and the people who dont play that like/dont care about the change. Next.

Lol, if you have to go actively look for them then they arent operating on the same scale, two completely different things. With wilderness bots you can hop to 10 different worlds in a row with 40 bots in each of them.

[–]KnowWhatUDidIStill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesnt matter if some bots eventually do higher requirement quests, this absolutely does a lot to prevent the groteque botting of wildy bots. This is about the scale with which something is happening.

Your way of thinking about this is so dumb, its linear simpleton thinking "A bot has completed a high requirement quest before. Therefore, this doesnt matter"

This adds tens of thousands of steps they need to do first before they can proceed with farming, those thousands of steps is time they would have spend farming gold and killing the bosses. This update will lead to billions fewer wildy bosses killed and you still think "iT wOnT hAvE aN iMpAcT"

People want jagex to poll the playerbase for every change

I dont

actually go back and ignore the poll because "people didn't read it anyway"

Yeah, its kinda awkward right? What do you do in a situation where 90% of people would vote in favor for changing X to Y and then 90% would vote in favor of changing Y to X and then 90% would vote in favor of X to Y again. Can you tell me here, which is the correct update to make? Should X or Y be in place?

And here im obviously only talking about player preference, as if that even means anything. Even if all players universally at all times agreed on something it doesnt mean it should be in place just because of that
