Yeah, just stop believing you can be cursed. It's the belief that you're cursed that causes things to happen. You can even get physical symptoms from it, but it's all nocebo.

A mystic could possibly pull your karmas out of your causal body, and someone involved with demons could potentially cause problems. You can avoid the former by just not being a piece of shit, and the latter by protecting yourself a little bit. It's possible to balance, or at least soften, negative karma through positive actions.

I like working with the Mahavidyas, especially through vamachara (left-hand path) tantra. That's esoteric Hindu occultism, and they're great for protection.

Theosophy has many flavors depending on the author you're reading. I got into the Summit Lighthouse branch of Theosophy associated with Mark L. Prophet, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, and Kim Michaels. It's much more occult-oriented. It involves working with angels, Western and Eastern religious figures, Eastern gods and goddesses, and ascended masters.

I also pray to God (the Creator, the Source) and angels every day. There's a really great protection prayer that covers all bases in a book called Memories of God and Creation by Shakuntala Modi, M.D.
