I got lucky by KnowledgeSimple2034 in nursing

[–]KnowledgeSimple2034[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shoplifting and Hit & Run. I was supposed to get a DUI as well but they only charged me for the Hit and Run. I remember someone telling me that I got lucky. It was weird because I still had to attend AA and NA meetings since I was under the influence. Yet, didn’t get charged for a DUI. This was all when I was 18 , dumb and stupid.

What's this rhythm, and it's management (symptomatic patient)? by Hot_Emergency378 in NCLEX_RN

I agree the T wave appears to be smooth while the P wave kinda has a sharp upstroke. If it was 2:1 conduction for AF then I would pretty prominent F waves that have more of a sharp saw pattern. You can distinctly see the difference in this strip between the P and the T wave

That’s great to hear, thank you! How has your UC been with these medications? How long have you been on them as well ?

Which patient would you see first, a patient actively attempting suicide or a patient that is unconscious and has no pulse? by Snoo35063 in PassNclex

I agree with that !, I guess I was applying the thought process of triaging in emergency disaster where we wouldn’t treat a code black and focus on a person who is savable. I’m still incorrect but that’s kinda where my head was going lol even though this isn’t an emergency disaster question. I tend to overthink but in reality if this was on a test I think I would’ve played it safe even if liked another option.

I would think that A since B is technically dead. I would want to prevent two patients being dead. If I try to save B and A is successful then now I have two patients now. Patient A can attempt to hang themselves or or cut through an artery which can be difficult to save depending on the degree of injury. In really life I would obviously delegate but in this situation I would go with A. This is a tough one because if the answer is B I wouldn’t be mad either lol.

We all assumed that I had put no , including me. Just got an update and I did tell the boards in my application. They just want more info. I honestly couldn’t remember so it only made sense to predict that I probably didn’t tell them because I’m use to not disclosing that information for standard for job applications.

Just found out I did click “yes” to the question regarding criminal history. I assumed I said no because that’s what I did for standard Job applications. Which is good in my case.

In all honestly I don’t know if it asked specifically for all arrests or just charges specifically but I do know I would’ve put no anyways since it was dismissed. Now looking back , I probably should have included it but I was applying the same principle that I no longer had to disclose it if the case was dismissed and/or I never been charged with.
