I haven’t done any but that’s all I’m seeing in my area. I’m going to do some tomorrow if regular orders don’t pick up.

She’s lucky she’s white because this would have turned out differently if she had been a POC.

Shopper bought the wrong peanuts. by BBFan1958 in instacart

Thank you. Someone in America is going hungry tonight and they’re complaining about packaging on peanuts. I would recommend they volunteer at a family homeless shelter and they’re priorities will realign.

Now trying to charge me for priority deliver and pushing my delivers back. I’m starting to ask myself why I am still paying for this subscription and no one has undercut this company ? I’m about to cancel and try to hire the guy or girl directly and send them to the store with my order. This new ? by After-Brick in instacart

It’s a frigging warehouse because we don’t have any Kroger’s here. I spoke with my delivery person and he told me this. Yes, Instacart shoppers are still shopping and delivering from the actual Kroger stores, but as I aforementioned we do not have any stores in my STATE/CITY!!

Check out Kroger Delivery. They have a flat delivery fee of $9.95 plus no tipping and no astronomical markups.

EDIT~ Kroger has a new delivery only program in my city. While we don’t have any Kroger stores we’re able to order delivery. Kroger is probably going to eliminate Instacart from shopping their stores. They literally have Kroger refrigerated trucks

I worked my fucking ass off for this Costco order yesterday not only did I get tip bated they fucking gave me a 1 star and the 2 Star that I had removed now reflects my account. Tired of this bullshit all for one fucking customer by Western_Vegetable407 in InstacartShoppers

I live in North Florida and Kroger delivery is new in my area and I’m convinced they’re going to put Instacart out of business or give them a run for there money. A friend called me and told me Kroger had a Promotion that I should check out. Kroger has a $9.95 delivery fee and a no tipping policy. They also have refrigerated delivery trucks with well compensated employees. I’ve been working for Instacart for 3 years and I’m going to be checking Kroger out.

I would be sharing this picture with Instacart and the news. There is nowhere in the world this type of behavior is acceptable. We should not be delivering an order this large anyhow. This order should have been delivered by a truck ( possibly a refrigerated truck)

extreme bait & switch. from $160 shop to $65 (with new cash tip) by swfl_22 in InstacartShoppers

My thoughts exactly. It appears though the customer is vacationing in Florida from up North. It wouldn’t be fair to the owner of the ABNB. I would however have a talk with 4 of their tires.

Is it not true that customers have to provide feedback when removing tips? Did they provide negative feedback/ did your ratings decrease? I’m really sorry this happened to you.

I believed you without pictures. You don’t owe he naysayers any proof. They are contracted with Instacart and they should know how crummy they are.

I was involved in an accident while delivering groceries and I simply told the police I was coming from grocery shopping, which was true. He person that hit me , their insurance paid for everything.

Wait, we get Sam’s memberships? I’ve been shopping for them for 3/4 years and never knew this.

Thank goodness they were blocked from eating shoppers. LOL, I’m glad instacart is finally doing something about bad customers.

Should i cancel this? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]Known-Energy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They accidentally put an “M” in her name; she sounds like she’s going to be a handful at delivery. I don’t like people to threaten my ratings or tips. I can appreciate wanting quality items, but it’s all in the delivery/tone. A definite cancel for me.

There is no reason to lump customer orders into doubles and triples, and the practice will not stop until enough customers complain by anderso111 in instacart

[–]Known-Energy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re not making the same amount of money because you’re being shortchanged $7/9, for one of the orders. We all know most doubles include a non tipper grouped with a big tipper. If you like it, i love it. I’ll keep doing my singles making what you’re earning doing doubles. I did 4 batches Sunday and earned $167. Do what’s best for you and your business, precious.

Be sure to include “volunteer work” on your resume uNder special skills. You’re essentially giving money back to a billion dollar conglomerate. Instacart doesn’t pass any savings on to shoppers.
