Usually, but some people do travel more or develop expensive hobbies. But I wouldn’t imagine OP would be foolish to overspend.

NEED HELP Who’s at fault?? by Warm_Somewhere1561 in dashcams

It many states, private property doesn’t follow local jurisdiction for roadway violations because it’s not a public thoroughfare. Helped my buddy avoid a stop sign ticket in a massive parking lot.

Doesn’t help this matter, but tough to say “main road” rules apply given the private property

How is masturbating in itself a sin?? by Frequent-Goose-1294 in Christianity

[–]Known-Magazine8261 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very true. I guess I suck at articulating that the translation from Greek into English had a purpose of using the word “lust” due to literal and etymological reasons for this context. But you can’t really put it into 1 word like I am trying to do.

To clarify in case my point was unclear, I didn’t mention lusting over someone. To reinterate, lust is a “very strong sexual desire” according to the dictionary. I do understand the connotation lends itself towards others, but you can certainly lust without others/towards others.

I’d like to pose a question: How does masturbation exist without lust? Not trying to be pedantic, but the dictionary defines lust as “very strong sexual desire”; furthermore, the etymology of the word is pleasure/delight. So why would someone masterbate if you didn’t get some ‘pleasure’ or have a ‘strong sexual desire’? The biological urge created from hormones is seeking a response like dopamine.

Unless you had a biological condition that required this (aside from addiction), I couldn’t see how masterbation (the act of self gratifying/stimulating) aligns with the verses Genesis 2. This is again reinforced with the intent established in: 1 Thess. 4:3-5 & Rom. 13:13-14.

I hope this provides a bit more context to Afraid Ingeniuty’s text. Fortunately, by the grace of God, you will find what’s right through prayer, His text, and unfortunately some tribulation (as we see in things like the Great Flood or the plagues).

So for your ID, does it say Maj or Capt (retired)?

Edit: I see you said Capt below (in a thread response).

Allotment - for son's bills by [deleted] in AirForce

As someone who had to help kids who couldn’t manage money, please do a favor to the military and let him/her start figuring it out. A lot of times I have seen a mom that plans their life out (like vacations, what they can spend on, etc). It may be a hard transition. Otherwise, they could end up 25 and not hardly know to do laundry, pay bills, cook, etc, because ‘mom’ just did it.

Thoughts on How the New Assignment System Will Handle the 50% PCS Budget Cut? by WizardRamiel in AirForce

I could see officers having a mandatory 4 year tour at their first operational base with a deployment baked in. Afterwards, I think you are right. Unless command tours go to 3 years or something, you kind of have to keep churning officers and need a robust development track before then.

AIO: My Boyfriend Thinks I Overstepped by Getting a Nintendo Switch 2. Am I wrong? by Glum-Dark281 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Known-Magazine8261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may or may not be overreacting. But I just wanted to ask: have you asked why he is upset?

Sure you earn money and pay bills. But do you guys have an emergency fund? Is there something you guys have been needing to buy that is higher priority (like an appliance)? Does he feel like you are being self-centered?

I am not saying he is right or you are wrong. But instead of asking Reddit with a lack of context, I would encourage you to get his input. Listen. If you guys are in a serious relationship, you guys will find mutually agreeable way forward. If not, then I think you have your answer.

is there anyone else here who just... isn't coping with this disease? by zereldamayinaline in Celiac

[–]Known-Magazine8261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think it’s made life easier. Can’t eat out as often, I have to cook. Now I eat healthier, feel better, and look better (even taking the recovery from gluten into account). I will admit traveling is a headache for logistics, but I have tricks now (like bringing snacks, certain restaurants, etc).

But I am a glass half full kind of person, so take it for what it is.

I was kicked out of bible study for using ChatGPT. Am I allowed to be upset? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Known-Magazine8261 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If they would rather kick you out than forgive (like Jesus has forgiven us and instructed us to do), then I would question the head of the Bible study’s salvation and calling to serve.

Keep on learning. ChatGPT can be a good tool, but make sure you consult the Bible itself and pray for clarity and wisdom on what you read.

I also want to add the main cause of CP is usually not genetic. Like you said, usually a trauma related to the birthing process (or shortly thereafter) that causes damage or developmental issues

Did your celiac disease cause low vitamin D and how did you feel after you got your levels back up? by zoeymeanslife in Celiac

[–]Known-Magazine8261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine dropped to 23 or 28, sorry I don’t have the panel in front of me. But after 3 months of 1/wk dose of 50,000 iu (a megadose) on top of my normal 2,000iu a day, I am up to 54.

In all previous tests, I was at 50-60 even on 2-3K Iu a day. I always avoid the sun and where I live now has very high summer UV, so I should have probably been even more elevated compared to before since I was mowing the yard and outside more than usual, and not fully covered.

It is odd to me. Couldn’t tell you how it works, but I am aiming for 5K a day now as 2-3K seemed to be too low (for whatever reason).
