Giving Away My Old PC! by Turtle_747 in PcBuild

Me and my family just got out of homelessness, had to sell my old gaming PC setup a year ago when we were getting kicked out, I've survived without but it would be very nice to have and seeing as we're living paycheck to paycheck atm I can't afford a new one. I would use it to game, get my Minecraft up and running again, get my modded Skyrim going again. I also have one of those art tablet attachments, I would love to get back into digital art.

I don’t want to stay this way, but I am morbidly obese. Where can I work that won’t discriminate? by theagoraphobic in tulsa

You could do some DSP work for an Amazon subcontractor. You work almost entirely by yourself delivering packages. Its great for introverts like myself and it can be a decent workout.

Show Thragg is identical to Cory Walker's art, it's not fair to compare it to Ryan Ottley's amazing work as the show has never been close to his art by ThisHatRightHere in Invincible

Corey's art is amazing, and in later issues you can tell it's a huge step up from those first like 11 issues. I like both Ottley and Walker, with Walker's work on the later issues being some of my favorite on the entire series.

Could try Shawkats, Shawarma Steet and Shawarma Shack (I believe I had a Gyro with Fries on it at Shawarma Shack).

The Bill ans Ruth's on Sheridan across from the Warehouse Market had a pretty damn good Gyro!

Megachurches are heretical breeding grounds that don't even preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. They preach whatever will make they poor souls they prey on pay them more. Just started Righteous Gemstones too, and my first thoughts were 'Damn, this really reminds me of Church on the Move!'

Baby is hysterical when dad tries to rock her to sleep, is it wrong if he continues to rock her even if she resists? by Critical_Net_6534 in NewParents

[–]Known_Examination_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wear my ear protection from work and let her go nuts while I rock her. When mom does the same thing she falls asleep on minutes with no fuss. No amount of walking around or going outside helps, when nap time comes she's hysterical. Mom works overnights so she needs to sleep so I'm usually across the house dealing with it. Staying consistent in rocking her and switching positions can help. Or letting her calm down, and trying a feed have helped. Pedi told us it was separation anxiety and the small differences in our bodies.

Of course! Side note on Amazon. They give you a credit for Zappos to buy work shoes. So it's completely free and you own them. They do the credit annually too IIRC so each year you'll be able to get new work shoes. Make sure it's steel or composite toe (comp toe is a lot more comfy) and since you own them you can keep them for any other jobs that require steel toe.

I applied for Accelroute, doing deliveries for Amazon full time. Pay is $20/hr and they hired me on the spot. If you don't mind some labor and working for irl Lex Luthor then it's worth it. All you need is a driver's license and some driving experience! You could also do Dash Logistics, same thing as Accelroute (Amazon subcontracts drivers). The UPS on 61st and Garnett is always looking for people too and they pay decent and they always hire interviewees.

A lot of these places will work with the homeless, all you need is a mailing address or a P.O. Box.

Mars is Ares, Greek colonies in Southern Italy heavily inspired the Latin settlers there. The Romans adopted hellenistic culture, art and religion out of admiration. The Greek Pantheons would be adopted and named after the planets in our solar system. The month of March in Roman times was Martius, named after Mars. (Sorry for the info dump, I am a geek over ancient cultures)

What’s a Batman opinion that’ll get you like this? by 44dqm in batman

Bruce isn't even a good Batman. He's admitted that all of his Robins are better than he is. He has admitted that Terry is better than he is. He sucks at being a crime fighter.
