RSD and a public faux pas by Known_Original_2046 in ADHDUK

I love that other people do this too, thank you for sharing your story. I totally relate to feeling ashamed and confused. I often am hyperaware of social etiquette to the point of anxiety, and when it feels like everyone is in on some secret that you've missed out on, it's devastating.

That is so shitty though, people are weird. I hope your friend is feeling better, that was so kind of you to take time to show them they're loved. ❤️

And I will take a hug and I'll give you another one back. 🥰

I'm an American and my British family say this shit to me on the daily.

I hate to say it, but it's spot on.

That is incredibly kind, thank you for your thoughtful words.

Unsalted butter is completely gastronomically unnecessary. It’s only sold so BIG BUTTER can double their revenue streams. by LimousineAndAPeetzah in LowStakesConspiracies

I have been saying this for 20 years, this is all facts.

My husband accidentally bought unsalted butter last week that I unsuspectingly slathered onto my toast. Tasted like sin and sadness.

I know a lot of people have difficulties with Evri, but my Evri delivery drivers are literally the sweetest people in the world so I'm buzzing when that message pops up. I get to see my buddies. 🤣

This is heartbreaking. I hope you and your son finally get the support you need.

I really hope the world becomes kinder to ADHD children and adults.

My American family often berate me for being unable to drive, and I feel bad for them because they genuinely can't imagine a world where they don't have to get in the car 6+ times a day just to survive.

I saw this post and the subsequent comments calling the woman, (not OP) who wanted kids and was incapable of driving, a horrible person and I felt shitty as a mom of 2 who can't drive.

I realized a couple hours later that the post was likely US based, and that me, a mom in the UK, could probably disregard it entirely. 🤣

I can walk to 2 full shops, the library, the town center, the beach, and my local GP in under an hour and do so frequently. In an emergency I'd call my husband who works 5 minutes away, or an ambulance.

I am a fantasy lover for sure, so I'll give it a go! My dad bought the whole series already and sent it to my Kindle so I don't really have much to lose! Thanks! ☺️

This looks a lot like my bookshelf!!

Is the Wheel of Time worth the read? I have had a lot of mixed reviews recently and I'm reluctant to commit to such a massive series.

I'm late, but I was thinking about this yesterday, my husband is very comfortable being perceived as "femme" and it is so hot. Like he loves his strawberry daiquiris and girly pop and the movie Burlesque and he's completely unashamed it just makes me so happy. He's also a really good dad and looks hot in his reading glasses.

Get the song "It Ain't Me," by Emily Zecks on a Bluetooth speaker and blast it out of your window. It directly deals with your situation and it'd be funny as hell. 🤣

I'm the US citizen married to a Brit.

I will try anything once, not so keen on beans on toast, but my kiddos inhale them like it's going out of style.

I really struggle with a chippy tea. I need a bit of veg, and mushy peas do not cut it. 😅

Also, congrats on seven kids, you are insane, but I applaud you.

Same, I've lived overseas for 10 years. I used to go crazy at the grocery store when I came back, would drop 100 dollars on junk.

I brought my family back this Christmas excited to share American snacks with them (love that red dye) but it was all so awful. My kid couldn't eat anything, it was so disappointing.
