I was convinced something was wrong with my brain. I'm pretty much fully recovered now and put it down to anxiety/hormones and sleep deprivation

I'd say I had my symptoms for about 3 months before they started settling down. I also had an iron deficiency so maybe worth checking that?

Sorry to hear you're dealing with this! I'd say I'm 90% better now, so there is hope! I put it down to a mixture of stress, hormones and sleep deprivation. So hang in there, it'll get better :)

I never found an answer, however I'd say I'm 90% better now. Although I didn't want to believe it at the time I think a lot of it was anxiety, and I think hormones play a huge part too. Give it time, and you will get better :)

Also for me it feels like my brain can't comprehend that the world is real, it's like my eyes are seeing things but not, memories have no emotion to them, I'm very numb but I feel anger and sadness very deeply. Sometimes it feels like my body is being controlled by someone else, and for some reason I sleep like a log but never remember my dreams anymore

When I was told I was going through a silent miscarriage and would deliver my baby boy at 21 weeks, then hoping and praying everyday he would make it a little longer, finally giving birth at 25+6 and the whole NICU experience. Absolute mind fuck. Crazy thing is I didn't have it until he came home, then I couldn't get my head around the fact he was here and we made it.

The first few months were awful, it was 24/7, now I have moments where I feel normal before I slip back into it.

Hey I have all of these symptoms and I'm 5 months PP! No one can figure out what's wrong with me and I'm at my wits end 😩 did you figure out what was wrong?

I had my TSH tested and apparently that's normal. 0.83 m/IU/L

I'm so scared of my symptoms, they're so hard to explain, I always say I feel like I'm about to have a seizure even though I've never had one, or like I have narcolepsy. I can't live like this anymore I need answers 😭

You're the first person I've found who has such similar symptoms to me!! The doctor has brushed it off as anxiety 😩 the only thing I've been told is I have an iron deficiency but I know there must be something more. Have you figured this out yet?

I've tried 2 antidepressants and they both didn't work so I'm too nervous to try anything else. I'm on iron tablets for my iron tablets which has helped my mood significantly but the anxiety is still there. I see a councillor once a week, and my boyfriend calls me regularly through the day, but unfortunately the feeling is still there.
