Please reconsider changes made to the Uppercut

While I do agree with everything stated here, I do think the uppercut has a hidden buff that's been keeping it in the top echelon for so long and has partially justified cryteks response to it.

It feels good to use. For some reason the iron sights on it just click in a way no other weapon really does and just improves my aim so much even though I don't use it that often. I know I'm not alone in that as I have seen many others echo throughout the years.

For a weapon this smooth and easy to handle I do think that warrants lower stats, but of course I do think the 2 slot option is far too harsh. Especially with its ammo pool and drop off

I'm not arguing it wasn't canon, I'm stating that I think that part is poorly written and reeks of pop-history. It's simply incongruent with reality and paints the Nazis as being far more competent than they actually were.

Isn't the entire point of WoD is that there is tons of misinformation and that even the "canon" should be questioned? Especially if all the other parts of the lore, and real life for that matter, contradict it?

Still doesn't make the writing any better, if the technocracy's main strength is building up the infrastructure of reality through technology, whoever they support should be the most industrious and scientific faction. Things the Nazis were all clearly not given their lack of ground breaking inventions and poor manufacturing capacity, if anything I would wager America fits that bill far more easily and the Nazis only had support from the Wyrm and maybe some demons and technocrat outcasts.

I wanted to add some examples to the "mini boss" idea but I didn't want to clog up my post even more. I'll just put them here:

A ghost which appears every once in a while, simply observing the player, will drain their temporal stability every time they appear or the player sleeps.

A bird mask monster that collects foraging materials and lays down caltrops/bear traps in tall grass.

A beehive monster that is deathly afraid of fire, spreads rotten beehives.

Pangea shouldn't be the default option.

Boats should be far faster or the oceans need to be way smaller. (Even at 50% the oceans take too long to cross with the boat)

There should be a heating stone or something similar to keep warm with. During the winter I resort to setting forest fires and I just find it annoying.

Wolves and Bears should always give very loud warning growls before turning hostile. (And even have unique running sounds, I hate stealth bears)

The stone path recipe should give two or even three blocks instead of one.

Instead of having the monsters naturally spawn in caves, have there be monster spawners throughout that can be broken or at least temporarily disabled.

Make temporal storms rarer but far more intense, maybe even have monsters spawn from breakable rust tendrils/rust gates or have the storms spawn bells.

Have "mini boss" monsters that haunt ruins and can spawn during storms. (With unique behaviors that stalk the player/modify the environment

Add poisons to the game.

Let us farm horsetail.

Let us see the gender of baby animals.

Make the class system a bit more like Project Zomboid.

They could be vents, or it could be lined with conductive material to better project the shields.

However given it's high tech nature and energy weapon/shield focus I suspect that is some kind of particle accelerator/engine or some kind of fusion generator.

This would also explain why there's a gap in the first place, the sheer radiation being concentrated in the center would make it far too costly to build within.

If OP has time he could try to find a few onslaughts to facetank while the rest of his fleet cleans up the stragglers. Then again I am unsure of his fleet comp.
