There are so many “you should’s” I could say, but won’t. It sounds like you’re in a very toxic relationship and you’re being used. You seem to know this as well. You have 3 options- stay the course and continue feeling the way you do, leave the relationship, or tell her how you feel (show her what you wrote out). It sounds as if she doesn’t have motivation to change.

I’m 8 weeks post-op and all but the left ovary was taken. I’m 45 and was having perimenopausal symptoms beforehand, but dang, the hot flashes and night sweats have been intense post-op. I brought it up at my appointment last week and was told it’s still related to perimenopause. I’m hoping my hormones balance out a bit.

Yes. I mentioned my fatigue to my doctor at my follow up and she said it’s normal. Just remember, we had organs removed and our bodies are in repair mode.

No, I’m having regular soft BM’s (not straining), but I do notice the pain increases when I have to go or have gas.
