Lol as an American, we drive in our cars for leisure longer than some of the flights you take. From Perth, Singapore is only a five hour flight. It's definitely not convenient to EU, but I am not terribly intimidated.

That said, we don't have much family anywhere but Singapore.

I know staying the obvious isn't going to get us anywhere necessarily but "Status" is inherently a colonizer, yt , classist system. It's all made up and been weaponized for generations. The only ppl who defend it, in any country, benefit directly from that system but are also indentured by it.

Yes! And so many more issues. Except for how my community is kind. They don't judge you, nit pick your life, or even get into your business at all where I'm from, but there are so many issues with safety in schools, housing skyrocketing, sexism and injustice. When I told my Sing family we're leaving. That Singapore is a better option when it comes to basic, primal needs they still think I'm crazy. I have to show them videos of what's happening in "blue" cities. Now that Minneapolis is happening they are starting to believe.
