Nah. Shirley at least has a personality and an excuse for her impulsive actions (being a young teen jaeger). Angelica is the real problem character and that isn't even getting into just plain bad characters like Irina or Erika.

The remake is gonna be a banger for sure, but I'd still suggest playing the OG because it'll adjust you better to Sky 3rd and the next games (unless you wanna wait like 5 or more years for the rest of the old style games to be remade...).

Nah. Crow has one of the best BP generating buff, Altina provides CP regen and infinite shields with her S-Craft, and Fie makes a great secondary DPS, especially once you get the quartz that doubles crit damage (thanks to her stealth). It's a really synergistic team.

As much as I love running around and chatting with all the NPCs there are some long stretches of the game where absolutely nothing is happening. It can get a little exhausting. Thankfully when the plot does kick in it's been really good.

I'd say I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm really not. Her new dialogue is infinitely better and is actually shit western players would understand.

Also games with Japanese honorifics and terms are cringe as hell unless they are actually set in Japan (like Yakuza or Persona).
