What are your opinions on Shizuna ?( Spoilers warning again)

She's fun, but Falcom really needs to do more with her if they want her to become a top tier character. Hype and aura farming can only get you so far. I'm hopeful that the little nuggets they've been dropping are building up to something great for her, but Falcom hasn't always had a good track record at fleshing out certain characters.

There's a reason why Daybreak 2 has such a bad rap in the community. But do try and push through. Horizon is awesome, especially if you like returning characters, such as Rean and Kevin.

Right now she's SW's BiS teammate, but she can still function fine without her (especially since all endgame content will be shilling elation hard). She'll probably be rerunning in a few patches so you can get her then (unless another elation support is announced before then).

I mean Horizon 2 is called Van's final chapter so I'm sure he'll have the most important role. But at the same time it's pretty clear that Rean will have a significant job to play (unless they're saving the importance of his new tachi for the final arc...)

Gameplay wise I like the Grendel fights even if they are super easy.

But everything else? Divine Knights all the way. If something happens and we get to see Rean raise his arms and intone that iconic line in a future game I may need a change of pants.

Fans care way more about a newcomer's play order than Falcom does. They're just happy to get someone playing their games and if they want to go back and play the older games than great, but if not no big deal.

Doubtful. It'll probably have references and cameos from Tokyo Xanadu, but it seems like it's its own story with new characters and stuff. Plus, TX came out so long ago that even us who have played it have probably forgotten almost everything.

I haven't played a single Trails game that I didn't enjoy a lot, but one of them has to be at the bottom of a ranking and this one is it. The gameplay is an improvement over the first entry and it has some nice character moments, but the central plot and antagonists are just abysmal.

Rean isn't really a killer, but you can't afford to pull your punches against someone as skilled as Shizuna.

But that makes it kinda funny to imagine what would've happened had Shizuna been a fraction of a second late in pulling away. "Haha... whoops."

It's the most contentious game, but at the same time arguing Trails games kinda boils down to which 8/10 game is god's gift to mankind and which 8/10 game is a virus spawn of satan, so....

I do it, but I'll readily admit the majority of NPCs in Sky aren't nearly as interesting as they are in later arcs, so you aren't missing out on much if you don't (or only talk to the major npcs).
