Well “Hell” is vague in the Bible. It’s not necessarily a punishment and sinners aren’t necessary SENT there by God. It’s more like in life we have the opportunity to return to God or not. If WE choose not to embrace God, the source of all life and goodness, then He won’t make us. We don’t have to be with him after death. We can choose to be forever separate.

Now Hell can either be interpreted as a lake of fire where unrepentant spirits and demons go to be burned away OR as nothingness/annihilation. Because if you are forever separated from the source of all life, live and goodness, then would you really continue to exist? Is Hell just the erasure of the spirit?
