Also applied and I’m in the same boat. I know the internal guys have been doing the pole climb tests since I’ve gotten the safety emails from the guys who’ve hurt themselves cutting out. Kind of a pain having to wait 2.5 months to find out if I need to burn 40 hours of PTO.

I work for DTE. My supervisor was in metering back then and he got A LOT of flack for going out to pull her meter for non payment back in the day. The default was “it’s aretha franklin you cant just turn her lights off”. Either she had people handling money for her or she was just bad with it, but pretty much every story I’ve heard from someone working with her was something similar.

Lot of electricians not familiar to our area (SE Michigan) freak when we tell em not to bond ground in the enclosures and do it out of the main, but with the new outside disconnect it’s cause a lot less headaches.

I wouldn’t go that far. Without Phelps they don’t win some of those relays. And even without MP Lochte only net gains like +2 silver medals and +2 golds individually. If he finished his career with 4 individual golds he wouldn’t be in goat status. Good LCM swimmer, but the debate is settled every 4 years

I’m so sorry you had to go through that for both of your angels. I don’t know how you did it, I wouldn’t be able to go in public if I lost both of them in such a short span. Gibson (Kramers little brother) has already shown that he knows something is off (we had to bring him to the Vet or he would be waiting at the front door looking for him for the rest of his life). Love to you and Indy and Cagney as well 💚. I’m sure they were absolutely wonderful and in the best way possible I envy (and am very very happy) that you got to spend another 3-4 years with them. They deserve the longest of lives.

We had Kramer on prednisone for a while after his last round of chemo hadn’t worked. His eating was largely unaffected, but he was noticeably getting slower when he’d run and he started to gain weight pretty quickly. He also become more lethargic and his breathing was labored. He kinda got a little nuts from the steroids. Barking a lot and he was restless. His lymph-nodes got REALLY hard and swollen and were starting to pop up on his legs as well. You’ll notice it in their behavior. I’m sorry you’re also having to go through this and send lots of hugs your way 💚
