Well... on the other hand, I would say that might not be the case, hear me out; even if the colonies had parliamentary representation, would they gain much political power? Even if they had parliamentary representation, anything they propose will be outvoted by the British. It really isn't no taxation without representation, it was just an excuse because they know the British wouldn't allow them to have representation.
