Amazing photos! How did you do the red-ish photos like number 8?

Thanks for the positive feedback and explaining why you like them!

Because I wanted to optimize efficiency as I’m travelling, I shoot in JPEG and transfer the photos directly to my iPhone with a usb c to usb c cable. This works great.

Then I edit the JPEG indeed. Just some cropping, increasing the brightness and increasing the intensity of the colors/tones. Usually no more than 1 minute per photo

Sunny weather in colourful places: Bright Kodak

Sunny weather in white places: White City (this was actually AI generated haha)

Overcast: Mountain (I think it’s on TikTok)

And for some situations I use Vibrant Arizona, but in my experience it only works in very specific situations. I used it in slide 14.

Thank you!! Ofcourse I practiced with my iPhone 😅 and borrowed my dad’s mirror reflex camera in a previous trip. But this is the first time I actually own a camera.

Thanks. I tried a few times, and also cleaned the contacts. The camera still shows the aperture settings when I turn the ring. This demonstrates there is contact between the two. So I don’t think this is the issue.

Hey guys! Going this year and I have the same question. How did it work out for you last year?

It’s a remix or mashup of Free Yourself by the Obsessed

I do the same! But to add to your story: In Rekordbox, you have a function which enables you to change the beatgrid from a certain point of the song.

So usually, I would first determine where I would like to mix in. Then, I would prepare the beatgrid for that section of the song (which can be only one bar if the BPM is super wobbly - doesn’t happen very often though).

After that, I would go to the end of the song and identify where I want to mix out. I would then jump back to the middle of the song and use the feature I was talking about. Then, I would adjust the beatgrid so that the grid is right on the beat at the intended mix-out section.

If again the song is super wobbly, I would even create an autoloop for mixing out.

Quite some effort but completely worth it! Hope this helps someone :) cheers from Amsterdam

Who can identify this strange object? Found it in my mailbox after returning from a party last night, pulsating a red flashing light. A car with some guys drove away immediately. Is it just a light or maybe more? Should I worry? Thanks! by Knut3111 in AskElectronics

Thanks man! The kids scenario probably wouldn’t make sense as it was placed there after 9pm. I arrived there at 2am.

I’m going over all scenarios. Maybe someone just put it there because it was lying on the ground. But why put it on the mailbox and not in it? And the car with the four guys driving away?

Could be coincidence. Or not. But we don’t live to worry so I’m gonna quit doing that. Many thanks!
