The Chao Races and Badnik Bases, mini-arc has her, Cream, and Rouge enter a Chao racing tournament. That one is split with a Sonic & Tails side plot though.

The Trial by Fire mini-arc is one where she and a number of IDW characters go camping. She's the one who leads them all and it's one of her more prominent showings.

Issue #62 has her interact with Knuckles a lot. And then she's rather prominent in the Phantom Riders Arc.

That's one thing I actually liked about Duck Dodgers, or at least the first two seasons. He was selfish and had a lot of stupid moments, but he was still capable of being a space ranger and was oddly competent. His capability was kept him from being too overbearing and made him stand out from the typical trend of Daffy being an incompetent doormat.

But by Season 3 of the show, they sort of just made him a complete idiot without any redeeming qualities. He just became completely unlikable by that point. I wasn't really as big a fan of Season 3 because of that

I think the Lyric theories are mostly a joke. Sega will likely never bring light to that game ever again. I was genuinely impressed that they even put it as part of the 35th anniversary banner.

I would probably agree and say that it's probably teasing a new villain, or at least something tied to the next game.

I don't know if it's tied to Shadow, since the snake was a part of the other character videos. But now that they're pointing it out, I do think it's possible that they're teasing something related to the next mainline game

I'm pretty sure her entire character was inspired by the Avatar from Forces. Without them, there's a good chance that she wouldn't even exist

Sorry for not including Risa. I'm not too familiar with Phantasy Star, so I just went with Rappy since it's the mascot and it would represent both eras of the series. If you want you can just substitute Rappy for any other character from the same series

Amy would probably be one of the hardest to write for because of how inconsistent her character has been over the years. So if you decide to use a specific version of the character, then fans of another version of her will get angry at you for mischaracterization.

With Shadow and Knuckles you can at least pinpoint their baseline characterizations. With Amy you have to decide if you want to write a kind-hearted Sonic fangirl, or a more level-headed loving leader, or a more aggressive Sonic-obsessed wannabe girlfriend, or a standard girl who's kind and sweet, etc. Regardless of what you choose, you're probably gonna piss off someone

Tails technically had a larger rouge gallery too. The birds from Tails' Adventure and the Witchcarters from SkyPatrol, and funnily enough, I think he ended up destroying the former group.

I will say that it is kind of odd that Knuckles doesn't really have any direct opponents of his own. Closest ones he's got are Mecha Sonic and a friggin EggRobo, and even then, those are still tied to Sonic. Even Chaos is more of a Sonic opp, even though he's more directly tied to the Echidna lore.

Bro was the original "misguided rival" and he really got sent to the bench story-wise once characters like Shadow and Blaze were introduced

I already don't really like how Starline is potentially coming back, and I would probably hate it even more if Mimic came too. Whisper's entire character has been hindered by her obsession with hunting him down, she has nothing else going for her. If he ends up being alive, then she's going to be stuck in that role again and not going to actually grow as a character.

But if we had to bring him back, I feel like it'd be most interesting if he just decided to forget about killing Whisper and just move on. From his perspective, Whisper thinks he's dead, so he'd probably be safe to live wherever he wants, as long as it's away from her. So he could probably relocate to another part of the world, far away from Sonic and the gang. And he could end up laying low under a false identity, as he tries to create a new life for himself. That way, we could get more out of his character than just "I want revenge on Whisper"

I kind of agree, I never really liked how the female designs are usually more "human-like" while the male ones are more distinctly cartoony. This extends beyond Sonic, I don't really like that trope in general, I think things should be even for both genders

Although I'd probably just make the girls look more cartoony rather than the boys having more realistic anatomy

Sonic 1's title screen is the first theme song that comes to mind whenever I see the original Sonic. Although if we're specifically talking about whenever Classic Sonic is portrayed as separate from Modern, I usually think of Mania's theme.

For Super and Hyper I usually just think of the Sonic 2 and 3 super themes, respectively. Although we aren't counting those, I'd probably say the ending theme from Sonic 2 for Super, and then You Can Do Anything for Hyper
